| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 10-21-2002 Monday 10-21-02 Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by discussing their weekends. The guys were out at Scary Acres on Friday night and after event, Tyler wondered if all 10-year-old boys are dicks or just the few he saw that that night. The guys also attended the Lancer game over the weekend and seemed quite impressed with the new facility in Council Bluffs. They got to check out the new suites and appeared on the Jumbo-Tron for a moment, the boos deafened by the cheers. The guys also talked briefly about the Husker loss that took place over the weekend and pointed out that the paper saying, This isnt the Huskers is nothing more than denial. BW came in with the news. He was at the Scary Acres event on Friday night as well and even though there was plenty of opportunity for BW to close, he proved once again that he has no game and ended up going home alone. He then spent a moment telling TnT about how he lost his money clip at the Red Eye (hair lip) but the kind folks there put it aside and returned it to him when he phoned later. He eventually got into the news and that segment was wrapped up with a visit from Slave Boy Jeremy. Jeremy told TnT about a recent trip to California with his buddy Bubba, where the two of them went on a cruise. While out there, he ran into a guy who was in the alternate jury pool for the Roger Van case. The man claimed to have intimate details of the story, some of which TnT didnt know already, and said hed talk to the guys about it if they called him. Jeremy gave the guys the mans phone number but they were unable to get a hold of him today. With the Freakers Ball rapidly approaching, the guys spent some time this morning pondering costume ideas. So far, both Todd and Tyler seem stumped. They recapped some of their costumes from past years and then opened up the phone lines for suggestions from their listeners. For the most part, TnT didnt seem all that keen on any of the callers ideas this morning. It sounds like a trip to Ralston Costume for both of them in the very near future. Todd and Tyler were joined by a few more calendar contestants this morning. Lisa, Kelly, and Rachelle all came in and chatted with the guys as they (and countless men across Mid America mentally) pondered the thought of knocking boots withem. Theyll probably be the last of the girls to come in so the Guys in the Purple Room will have to get to work on making their selections soon. Stay tuned for further details. Travis came with a sports report a little later in the show. Before he got into the actual sporting news, he talked with Todd and Tyler about his weekend trip to Stillwater, Oklahoma to cover the Husker abortion on Saturday. He didnt like the stadium and discussed how it looked like an Erector Set. Also while in that neck of the woods, Attaboy also swung by the Chiefs game to see them take on the Broncos Sunday. Larry the Cable Guy checked in today and after some initial Husker talk, he got into his commentary. Actually, todays commentary was a letter he received from his little Pigmy buddy, Boobla Boobla. It was rather amusing, and awful nice to here a commentary that didnt reference Janet Reno, Rosie, or Oprah. More from Larry as the week progresses. Todd and Tyler received a phone call from former Husker QB Keithen McCant. As has been the trend with this year, Keithens been calling the guys after every Husker loss to bitch about the team. He basically echoed his comments from before, stating that the Huskers look bad, things will get worse before they get better, there are definite coaching and recruiting problems, and so on. He then went on to say that A&M, Texas, Kansas State, and Colorado are all expected losses in his mind, with Kansas still up in the air. Im sure well hear from Keithen a few more times this season so stay tuned. Mike Allen from the Funny Bone joined the guys in studio again this morning and hung out for a while. He set a record for consecutive comedian visits this morning, as he came in Wednesday through this morning. Mile joined in on the topics of the day and said hed swing back in sometime soon. You can catch him in Sioux City later in the week if youre in the area. BW returned later in the show with the entertainment news. The guys spent some time discussing the new Jackass movie, funny Fox Sports Net promos, Cambodian landmines, and midgets who can kick themselves in the head. That last topic spawned a call from Midget Brian. He ranted for a while about the inaccuracies of a recent CSI episode while Tyler played Somewhere Over the Rainbow in the background. I laughed so hard that I might have broken my ass bone. Todd and Tyler are going to be out at Brewskys tonight for another installment of Monday Night Football. Tonight Tylers Steelers are taking on Donnies Colts and the Golden Rods will be facing off against Midland College. In order to qualify for the Best Buy TV tonight, youll need to wear either Midlands Collage or Oklahoma State gear. Get out there early tonight and have a blast with TnT. Consequently, tomorrow will probably be a hangover Tuesday so feel free to stop by the studio with food for them tomorrow. Well thats the update for today. Tune in tonight at 10pm on your way home from Brewskys and make sure to rejoin TnT for the stellar Tuesday edition of their show tomorrow morning at 5:30am. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby- |
