| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 10-31-2002 Thursday 10-31-02 Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning with a little Halloween talk. They shared a few of their memories of Halloween as kids and then discussed what theyd be handing out to the tick-or-treaters tonight. Todd said hes giving out salmon fillets this year. Also big news this morning was the murder of the Run DMC DJ/Producer overnight. When TnT asked BW whether he had the story for the mornings newscast, he said, No, thats entertainment. The guys got a kick out of that. The phone lines then opened up and listeners checked in to talk about the whole East Coast vs. West Coast rapper war that was in the news over the past few years. TnT dont understand what the problem is so a few of their brotha listeners checked in to speculate. Later, TnT were also thoroughly amused by a call from Joe from Blue House. He stated, I have a more talented asshole than you. I cant remember how or why Joe said that but it was funny as hell nonetheless. It even made it into Tylers computer as another screen door sound effect. BW came in with the news shortly after Joes call. The gang had a lengthy discussion over child narks and big dog lickers and then got off on a tangent after a story of a set of Iowa twins who were busted for breaking into a turkey farm and beating 100 of the creatures to death with baseball bats. That led into some talk of the validity of the classic WKRP episode where they dropped turkeys out of a helicopter. Also during this portion of the show, the gang somehow got on the topic of strippers that shoot breast milk out of their cans at the audience. After BW wrapped up the news, the strange topics brought up during that segment of the show continued. TnT took calls from listeners with turkey stories ranging from their intellect to a tale about kidnapping turkeys. They also received quite a few phone calls about breast implants, breast-feeding, and squirting nipples. Oddly the combination of turkey and breast talk made Tyler quite horny. Craig Peters and Mike something from the studio came in to hang out with the guys for a bit. Craig retold his story from late in yesterdays show about being pulled over in Hamburg, IA on his way here earlier in the week. For the full story, please refer to yesterdays update. The two hung out for most of the morning and joined in on the topics of the day. You can see them performing all week at the Funny Bone by phoning 493-8036. Travis came in with the sports. During this time, he told the guys his wife had found her missing wedding ring. It turns out that little Owen stole the ring from his mom a few weeks ago and stuck it in the refrigerator behind some Ranch dressing. We can all sleep better tonight now, I guess. Trav also talked a little bit about the reaction he got from this weeks For What Its Worth segment. The most gripping seemed to be the guy who called Travis a dick three times during his voice mail rant. Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning and talked with TnT a little more about the Blue Collar Tour and the movie associated with it. He then delivered a commentary that was actually a diary entry from when Larry was a kid. It was quite funny. Stay tuned for more from Larry next week. By the way, if you want tickets to the November 8th Blue Collar Tour performance in Lincoln, you can obtain tickets in all the normal ways youd get them. Feel free to check out ticketexpress.com College World Series Nebraska Football Omaha Concert. BW returned later in the show with the e-news. The gang discussed some reality TV shows and commented on how terrible the Anna Nicole Smith program on E! is. They were also happy to hear that the Liza show was cancelled due to her creepy husband. BW also reported that there is going to be an Ozzy movie about his live in the future, which TnT both agreed could be interesting. During the e-news, Tylers computer had a meltdown. It was hilarious. According to the screen, Tyler said his compute was telling him something to the effect of Preparing to dump all physical memory. Later, Physical memory dump complete popped up. Whatever happened, the commercials and sound effects were killed for a bit. Their engineer scrambled to fix the problem, speaking in tech-ese that nobody understood, but eventually the problem was fixed. Everyone had a good laugh at the physical dump line and toyed around with that for a bit. TnT wrapped up this mornings show by reading over a list of the top 13 scariest movies ever. The Exorcist took top prize, surprising no one. The guys then opened up the phones again and took calls from listeners who wanted to talk about other scary films that didnt make it onto the list. There were several very obscure movies referenced, including on where an Indian is born out of the back of somebody, so its safe to assume the Blockbusters will be busy today. Well thats it for todays update. Tune in tonight at 10pm for the 3rd Shift Replay and make sure to tune in tomorrow at 5:30am for the Friday program. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby-
