Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by recognizing Veteran’s Day. They spent a few moments going over the various wars the United States has fought and discussing whom our allies and enemies were in each. Also, with their Monday Night Football party taking place tonight at Brewsky’s, TnT thought it might be a good idea to salute the armed services by letting anyone coming dressed in armed services gear to qualify to win the Best Buy TV they’ll be giving away. They added that anyone attending tonight who happens to bring in any dead member of countries the US has kicked the ass of since our inception, they’ll also be qualified. So get out your shovels and dig up the closest dead Nazi or Revolutionary War period Brit you can find and bring’em out to Brewsky’s tonight.

Also early in the show, TnT discussed their Friday Night Broom Ball game that took place during the first and second periods of the Lancers game. Tyler’s Swinging Stain Sticks beat Todd’s Battling Butt Juice 2-1, thanks in part to Travis the cherry picker. BW rallied hard for the MVP nod but from the sounds of it, votes were cast more to Travis for his scoring and Midget Brian for his assist abilities than votes going to the news chick. While they were on the topic of the Broom Ball game, Tyler talked about how Becky busted him for staring at the ass of a lady in front of them in the beer line Friday night. She phoned in to point out that she knows he looks and doesn’t really mind, but she was pissed because he did it right in front of her. Todd, too, talked about an argument with his own wife. His, though, didn’t involve him staring at anyone else’s ass. He and his wife got in an argument about what to do over Thanksgiving break. Todd wants to ski and his wife wants them both to go visit Todd’s parents.

Todd and Tyler received a letter from the people who run the Nebraska Radio Hall of Fame web site, Nebraska Radio Personalities Hall Of Fame, saying that TnT have been inducted into the Hall of Fame. TnT found that rather amusing because they’ve bashed the whole Nebraska Radio Hall of Fame idea in the past. The guys then read through the list of everyone else inducted this year and with the exception of their old buddy the Chuckster of Love, they didn’t recognize most of the names. ‘’Just being employed shouldn’t get you in the Hall of Fame.’’

BW came in with the news a little later in the show. As he read through each story, TnT discussed each. There was an inordinate amount of animal cruelty stories this morning, which seemed to piss Todd and Tyler off. After the news, TnT spent some time talking about how they would like to do another round of Speed Date with Brian tonight at Brewsky’s. They opened up the phone lines and asked for interested female listeners to check in and reserve a time slot between 7 and 9pm to chat with BW. No takers checked in early in the show, though.

Larry the Cable Guy phoned this morning and talked to the guys about his show Friday night in Lincoln. He also had a commentary on how stupid kids are coping the stunts seen in the ‘’Jackass’’ movie. As he ranted, he gave away a handful of stunts performed in the movie, which bummed TnT out because they haven’t seen it yet. Larry will probably check in again in a day or two so stay tuned.

Trav came in with the sports. He told TnT that Saturday’s Husker game was probably the worst game he had ever seen, boring as can be. He then described how the guy signing the national anthem forgot the words and paused for 30-seconds of silence while he tried to remember them, finally opting to the lyrics in his back pocket. By then, though, the jets that fly over the stadium shot across the sky and drown out what was left of his embarrassing performance. TnT also talked with Travis about how he blew another Lock of the Week before moving on to a discussion about problems they see in the setup of Nebraska’s high school football playoffs.

After the sports, TnT continued discussing the Radio Hall of Fame, as well as talking about other Hall of Fames. They also continued to try to book ladies to speed date with Brian tonight. After a while, it seemed that nobody was going to call in to reserve a spot. Fat Freddy offered up some meat bouquets to entice the ladies and not even that worked. Callers then began to check in and pounce on BW for not taking advantage of the Calendar Girls that were throwing themselves at his feet not too long ago. Also during this portion of the show, a lesbian listener named Diane checked in and said that she’d go out on a double date with Brian and a woman if BW brought along his mom for her. It was very funny, made the tape, and was replayed several times throughout the remainder of the show. Diane was inducted into the BW Mom Card Hall of Fame after that call.

BW returned with the e-news later in the show, all the while Todd and Tyler were continuing trying to get at least one female listener to schedule a speed date with Brian tonight. Eventually, at 9:45am, listener Shelly phoned in and agreed to meet up with Brian tonight at 8:55pm, 5 minutes before the guys are scheduled to leave Brewsky’s. The gang also continued their discussion of the Nebraska Radio Hall of Fame.

The guys will be out at Brewsky’s tonight for another edition of Monday Night Football. Remember to wear your military gear to qualify for the Best Buy TV. You can also bring a dead guy killed by the US military in any of the wars over the last 200 or so years. Speed Dating with Brian will also go as scheduled, with 5-minute spots open from 7pm to 8:55pm. The first 4 ladies to sign up will get Fat Freddy meat bouquets, while the rest of you will just have to settle for enjoying your time with the news chick. It should be a lot of fun so stop out and see the gang.
