Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by taking about a phone call their boss Bruce took yesterday afternoon. A lady from the Los Angeles G.L.A.D. organization (Gay and Lesbian Anti-Defamation) had phoned him after she received some e-mails and calls from people who heard yesterday’s Todd and Tyler show. She was under the impression that TnT were gay bashing and phoned Bruce to talk about it. He pointed out to the lady that TnT weren’t gay bashing and elaborated further by informing her of many of the gay friendly things TnT have done on their show (the anti-protest against the Kansas church protesting the funeral of a local gay man, the whole 416 issue, their comments about National Coming Out Day, and their general liberal ideas on gays in general). They guys planned to phone the lady from G.L.A.D. but due to a busy show schedule, they didn’t have the opportunity today.

The guys talked about a few other issues early in the show, including how the Husker’s weight room is getting a bit out of date. Also, Todd went and saw the new Emenem movie ‘’8-Mile’’ last night and said it was quite good and then BW railed on fat women for a bit. Speaking of BW, he also provided us with the news, which included some discussion about Springfield’s sexual predator bus driver problem.

The guys got a call from the principal of the Sidney, IA high school. She told the guys that she’d love the Todd and Tyler Traveling Dodge Ball All Stars to come to her school for a match when the season starts. Although she didn’t give many details, she told the guys that she was sending up some gifts for them on Monday.

Shortly after the call from the Sidney principal, TnT were joined in studio by several students from the Abraham Lincoln high school in Council Bluffs. They came with some gifts, including a cake, a pie, some T-shirts, and they even brought BW a book called, ‘’101 Ways to Flirt.’’ They read over a list of things they’d spend the money on if TnT come to their school for a dodge ball game and help them raise some funds. The guys found it rather funny that the students said they would buy stall doors for their crappers and a new ceiling for their gym, as their current ceiling drops asbestos on them any time a ball hits the tiles. The guys sounded excited about playing A.L., partly because it’s close to home. After the visit with the students, the guys spent a few moments reading over things from the flirting book.

Todd and Tyler spoke to Troy Roberts of CBS’s ‘’48 Hours’’ this morning. He discussed a story that will air tonight at 7pm involving a murder case of a small boy. The foster father, who has had great history of childcare with over 90 kids so far, has been accused of smothering a small child under his care. The accuser is a 3 or 4-year-old kid, the brother of the dead child. The story sounds very interesting so if you are so inclined, check out ‘’48 Hours’’ tonight on CBS.

The guys got into a lengthy discussion with Brian this morning about oral sex. Somehow the topic came up and Brian mentioned that he won’t perform oral sex on a woman he meets at a bar, and won’t do it to someone he hasn’t known for quite a while. Jeremy agreed with BW’s stance but Todd and Tyler both thought the two were nuts. They tried to get to the bottom of why BW wouldn’t do it, disassembled his ‘’we’ve just met, what if she has a disease?’’ argument, and concluded that BW is just selfish when it comes to oral. After all, BW seemed to have no problem with receiving oral sex on the first date. Several of the humorous comments from Brian regarding this subject include, ‘’I give in other ways. I lavish them with fine gifts and jewels’’ and ‘’I’d return the favor at a later date.’’ Callers checked in to talk about BW’s oral habits and nearly all of the female callers agreed with BW, some thinking he’s just a kind, sensitive man while others took the hygienic aspect of BW’s argument. The men, on the other hand, all seemed to agree with TnT. When you’re presented with a pie, grab a fork and dig in!

Also during the oral sex discussion, someone brought up the fact that they had heard that fat women give better Diekmans. The guys pondered why that theory has been bounced around, drawing the conclusion that because fat women have a harder time picking up men, they have to be good at oral sex in order to reel in a dude. Heavy women began to call in and discuss the topic with the guys, as did men who could attest to whether or not the thought was true. The conversation continued sporadically throughout the show and was concluded by one possible explanation for the theory that came in from the e-mail; ‘’Fat women swallow their food whole.’’

Lewis Black phoned the guys this morning to discuss his upcoming appearance at the Funny Bone. He talked with the guys about how one gets tickets for the special performance and then got into a discussion about Iraq, the TV pilot he’s working on for FX, things going on with Comedy Central lately, and his recent travel schedule. It was great to hear from Lewis Black again and I’m sure he’ll be back with TnT when he returns to the Bone for a regular show in February. By the way, Lewis will be performing at the Bone next Thursday night only and you can get your tickets by visiting either of the two Best Buy locations on Saturday between 10am and 2pm. Just ask about the Cox High Speed internet connections that will be featured there and they should hook you up with tickets for the show.

Travis came in with a sports report. He also provided his Lock of the week (Minnesota +10 over the Hawks) and his Saint of the week, St. Fabiola, the patron saint of divorced people.

Billy D. Washington from the Funny Bone stopped by the studio this morning and hung out with TnT during the last portion of their show. He talked with them about getting a Diekman from a 300-pound woman in a rental car in Oklahoma and shared several interesting stories about his days as an undercover cop in Houston, TX. He joined in on the topics of the day and seemed to have a great time with the guys. The guys got a call from the two lesbians they spoke to yesterday, most likely the conversations that spawned the lady from the LA G.L.A.D. office to phone Bruce. They discussed yesterday’s conversation and no one could really figure out what was said that would have pissed off the G.L.A.D. people. The guys also read over an outstanding e-mail that a listener sent to the G.L.A.D. lady (and forwarded to TnT), which pointed out how supportive Todd and Tyler have been of the gay community.

BW returned towards the end of today’s show with the entertainment news. There was some talk about Kermit getting a star on in Hollywood, the guys wondered why there is always a large amount of Nazi news in the ‘’This Day in History’’ segment, BW read a concise list of Celebrity Birthdays that was sent in by an e-mailer, and he wrapped up with a disturbing story about a woman who’s 10-titted cat gave birth to 16 kittens. Because she didn’t have enough nipples to feed the kitties, the woman breast-fed the other 6 for the cat.
