| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 12-11-2002 Wednesday 12-11-02 Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by playing the song Omaha from the Counting Crows. They wondered what ever happened to those guys, pondering further what ever happened to other popular groups like them at the time such as Pearl Jam. They then tried to figure out why Alexander Payne, the movie director from Omaha who has used the town in his three big movies, doesnt do any local media. Theyd like to speak with him about his upcoming movie starring Jack Nicholson but they arent having any luck tracking him down. From there, TnT discussed the comment made by Trent Lott regarding Strom Thurmonds 48 presidential campaign and wondered why Oklahomas JC Watts is supporting Lott. TnT then took a few cheating phone calls from listeners who heard their discussion from last nights 3rd Shift Replay. BW came in with the news shortly after. During this segment, the guys discussed whether or not one is supposed to tip their lawn care guys, BW did a story about a neighborhood near 130th & Center Street bitching about the amount of light the surrounding businesses put off, there was a gripping story about an Atlantic, IA Civil War monument viciously attacked with cherry pie filling, and BW read a report that concluded that when children drink, its bad for them. After the story about kids drinking, the guys spent some time talking about how they didnt like the taste of beer as kids but grew to love it. As the conversation progressed, the topic sort of switched gears. TnT started sharing memories of their first kisses and related sexual experiences, giving the names and circumstances surrounding those memories. Tyler talked about a truth or dare game in the woods and Todd shared a story about a Montana road trip for a tongue kiss. BW and Jeremy got in on the conversation as well and then TnT opened up the phone lines and let their listeners check in with stories of their first kisses, the first time the caller had ever seen a throck, the first stink finger, and the first sexual experience. The calls poured in for the remainder of the show and after hearing how young some of the callers claimed to be when describing their activities, everyone in the studio seemed ready to lock their kids up today. Travis came in with the sports a little later in the show. He spent some time talking about his Heisman ballet for a bit and then delivered his For What Its Worth commentary that aired on last nights KM3 10pm newscast. The topics included how Solich should hire someone from the NFL as a defensive coach, how the Huskers search for a new Athletic Director is worthless, and Travis asked why the UNO Hockey team should be allowed to move into the new arena when they cant sell out their current one even though the university claims the matches are sellouts and inflates their headcounts. If you would like to comment on any of this, you can leave Travis a voice mail by calling 593-2706 or send him an e-mail at travis@km3news.com or travis@z92.com. Tonight hell cover the feedback. Sean Gnandt from the Funny Bone stopped by the studio this morning after a nearly 6-month long absence. The gang played a little catch-up with Sean and found out that hes no longer planning on moving to New York City to advance his comedy career. Hes now headed to L.A. instead because he knows more people there and will have a larger selection of couches to crash on. Sean also told TnT about how he recently performed at the Fremont Wal-Mart Christmas party, a stepping-stone in the career of any comedian. Sean also shared a hilarious story about the first time someone ever touched his throck. He was 15 and went over to the school whores house. She had him naked but because he was so scared, he couldnt get it up. After an hour, he left and as soon as he stepped outside her house, his throck decided it would stand at attention once again. So Sean went back up on to porch, knocked at the girls door and said It works now! She replied with a through-the-door, Go home! Sean hung out for the remainder of the show and joined in on the other topics of the day. By the way, you can catch him at the Funny Bone this week by calling 493-8036. Todd and Tyler got a report that a white 95 Jeep Cherokee was stolen from a Council Bluffs gas station this morning with a 9-month-old baby in the back. The guys put out an APB to their listeners, which included the location the vehicle was last seen, what the baby was wearing, the license number of the Jeep, and the phone numbers to the Council Bluffs police department. An officer checked in a little later with further details. TnT also mentioned that the Amber Alert system was up and running and asked their listeners to be on the lookout. They kept us updated during the last hour of the show and as of now, 2:15pm, the girl has been found and is safe no doubt thanks to the Todd and Tyler show. TnT spoke to their old buddy Bobcat Goldthwaite this morning. Hes coming to town for 3 shows on New Years Eve at the Funny Bone. The guys talked with him about some of the things hes been doing lately, which include directing a movie for Comedy Central that he wasnt able to give too many details about. Bobcat then talked about how he nearly killed Jerry Lewis while introducing him at a benefit in London, shared a story about firing off booger skuds at the audience the last time he was in Omaha, discussed how large Screechs penis is, and shared his first kiss experience with the guys. When TnT asked if he has married Nikki Cox yet, Bobcat said that hes holding off to see if he can find anyone hotter than her, hence the 3 year and counting engagement. TnT will be speaking with Bobcat again in a few weeks so make sure to stay tuned. In the mean time, you can call the Bone Phone at 493-80036 to get reservations for Bobcats New Years Eve shows. BW returned towards the end of todays show with the e-news. He began with a pit bull story about an old women getting chewed up, then the guys discussed BWs comment about taking the cocaine. TnT then brought Jessica Dol in and asked her about her first time experiences. To no ones surprise, she said most of her firsts occurred at a Renaissance Fair in a tent. After that, TnT pretty much skipped the rest of the e-news segment and went straight for the Who the hell is that? closer, which wrapped up todays program. Tomorrow the guys will be joined by Paul Hooper from the Funny Bone and they are scheduled to talk to Dan Haggerty, Grizzly Adams. It should be another outstanding show so make sure to tune in at 5:30am and stick around all day. By the way, you can catch the 3rd shift Replay of this mornings show airing tonight at 10pm. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby-
