| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 12-20-2002 Friday 12-20-02 Greetings everyone. Before I begin todays update, Id just like to apologize for the missing update of Thursdays show. I was hit with the vicious 24-hour flu bug and between trips to the bathroom, I spent nearly all of yesterday in and out of a limbo coma. I attempted to go to work and only caught about the first hour of the TnT show before I finally went completely dormant. Im sure it was a stellar show, as always, so hopefully you all got the chance to listen to it all. Okay, now onto today. Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by discussing last nights Calendar release party at the Ice House. The guys had an excellent turnout for the event and with the exception of one guy who showed up too late to get a free calendar, everyone seemed to have a great time. That guy, though, got an f-bomb dropped on him by Todd so that took care of him. On a related note, the guys got one complaint e-mail regarding the calendar from a listener who was bummed out that the calendar didnt come with pre-punched holes in it. TnT had to spend a few moments describing this wonderful invention called a push pin and suggested using such an object to secure your calendars to your walls and cubicles. Also early in the show, Tyler discussed his 6-day drinking binge, sparked by his dads visit to town. Todd talked about how he spent the rest of last night playing slightly drunken ping-pong on his new table with his kids, an early Christmas present. Black Tony also joined the guys in studio, hung out with them for a bit, and discussed the topics of the day. BW came in with the news this morning. He mentioned that the guy who stole the Jeep with the baby in the back had been caught, as was the black guy who looks like BW that has been accused of raping two ladies recently. The gang also spent quite a bit of time talking about various Adventures to Target, which was very funny. And during the news segment, Tyler retold the classic Ive got to put together Mikes god damn bike Christmas story that has become part of Omaha lore. That story was brought up again when Tylers dad joined the guys in the studio later in todays program. Todd and Tyler spoke to Lauri Loewenberg this morning. Shes the author of a book about dream interpretation. Before the interview, TnT seemed to think the interview would be a bit boring, as theyre of the opinion that dreams dont mean anything, theyre just dreams. But when the guys got Lauri on the phone, they actually seemed to have a great time with her. She was surprisingly fun, rather funny, played along with TnT quite well and as TnT learned towards the end of the interview by visiting her web site, Lauris rather hot. During their interview, the gang discussed a variety of the classic dreams such as falling, flying, nakedness, and more. Lauri gave some details how the subconscious mind works, touched on pre-cognitive premonitions, sleepwalking and lucid dreaming. The gang discussed a variety of issues related to sexual dreams including gay dreams, wet dreams, and how women can climax during the sleep state much easier than men. She even took a few e-mailed and phoned in questions from listeners. Perhaps TnT will have Lauri back on the show in the near future. In the mean time, check out her web site at http://www.thedreamzone.com. Rozz stopped by today and hung out with the guys for a bit. She wanted to thank them again for all of their help during this summers Harley give-away charity even that she put on. She also joined in on the topics of the day and shared her orgasm dream experiences with everyone during Todd and Tylers interview with the dream expert. Travis came in a little later in the show with todays sports report. Before he began, TnT phoned his wife to talk about their strange name-out-of-the-hat gift exchange policy in the Justice house. They also tried to talk her into giving them the mixed tape Travis made for her back in college, which she said she has since thrown out. TnT also found out that Trav and his wife let their 6-year-old daughter go on the movie date with a boy from her school, something Travis initially said no to but he eventually caved. Trav then did his sports report for the morning and hung out for a bit after that, joining in on the topics of the day. Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning and delivered a commentary on how he hates kids in stores and wishes parents would discipline the little bastards with some authority. He also talked with TnT about the upcoming release of the Blue Collar Tour movie, due in theaters sometime in February. Well here from Larry on Monday, TnTs last day on the air before Christmas break, so make sure you dont miss the show. Z-92s program director and afternoon mullet master Bruce Patrick is leaving Z-92 to go work for another Journal radio station in Knoxville, TN called the Bone. He joined Todd and Tyler in studio today, his last day on the air, and talked with the guys about his time with the mighty Z. Some listeners and friends of the show/station checked in to wish Bruce well and the guys spent some time sharing various memories of the mullet with everyone. Speaking of mullets, the guys concluded their show this morning by playing the Mullet Haiku written and performed by Bruce Patrick and available on either the Wood Eye or Hair Lip CD that TnT put out a while ago. Bruce, well all miss you. Good luck in Knoxville! Eddie Gossling from the Funny Bone swung by the studio this morning and spent a couple of hours hanging out with TnT. TnT discussed Eddies massive weight loss, approximately 573 pounds in just over a year, as well as many other aspects of his comedy career and life. At one point during his visit, Tyler farted in the studio. At first, Eddie thought the fart was the aromatic odor of a breakfast burrito, which made him quite hungry. When he realized it was a Tyler fart, he flipped out. It was hilarious. Eddie joined in on the topics of the day throughout the remainder of the show and seemed to have a great time hanging out with Todd and Tyler. You can catch him at the Funny Bone all weekend by calling 493-8036. From all accounts, hes hilarious and you wont be disappointed in his show so call the Bone Phone now! The Fish Heads joined the guys in studio this morning to conclude Todd and Tylers week of Christmas music guests. They performed a couple of Christmas tunes with the stellar Fish Heads island flare and eventually did a couple of shots of tequila with TnT. If you missed them this morning, youll be able to catch the Fish Heads performing at the Red Eye (hair lip) on Saturday night. Towards the end of the show, BW returned with this mornings entertainment report. During this segment of the show, the guys got off on a tangent about Todds dog being in heat. From the sounds of it, his dog doesnt like wearing little boys underwear with a pad stuck in it. There was a little talk of Todds future plans to bread his dog, an idea BW didnt seem fond of because of his fear of having to mow over even more mounds of dog crap in Todds back yard. A few callers checked in with breading tips for Todd, including one guy who told him to have his dogs hips certified. At that point, Tyler seemed to have a meltdown similar to when Todd talks about fishing and the show moved on. The e-news continued and BW did a couple of stories that were so terribly boring that Bruce Patrick literally ripped the paper out of his hands and tossed the story on the floor, something TnT applauded him for. The gang then spent some time counting in German and they eventually wrapped up the e-news segment by playing a round of Would you lick that celebrity birthdays with a hot 19-year-old female caller. Well, thats it for todays update. Tune in on Sunday night at 10pm for the 3rd Shift Replay of this mornings show and make sure to tune in on Monday from 5:30am to 10am for the last TnT show of 2002, as theyre going on a little Christmas break beginning Tuesday. It should be a lot of fun so dont miss out. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby- |
