| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 01-30-2003 Thursday 1-30-03 Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by discussing last nights dodge ball game in Sidney. They had another great turnout for the event and after speaking to the principal of the school later, they found out that more than $4500 was raised for the schools new baseball/softball complex. The guys phoned this weeks Weak-ass Bitch squad, made up of two guys who didnt play because they were out of town, Joe Blue House and James the Giant Peach. TnT phoned both of them in Phoenix and woke them up before 5am their time. Peach was a bit more hostile than Joe but both guys seemed to accept their Weak-ass Bitch declarations with honor. TnT continued their dodge ball discussion from there, talking about various injuries, memorable plays, scolding Lester for dropping the f-bomb in front of a 7-year-old, and mentioning RJ from the Fish Heads having blood-filled testicles. Also early in the show, TnT phoned the husband of a female listener for what appeared to be no reason at all. The lady phoned in yesterday, talked about working for a charitable organization, and her husband heard her on the air. He later said something about it while he and she were out with friends and the lady felt like her husband was bumming on her for phoning the TnT show. She asked I the guys would call him this morning to see if her husband was mad about her call to their show, which the guys did, and the man said he wasnt. From there, Todd and Tyler spent some time talking about some of the personal ads in the most recent edition of the World Heralds Go magazine. BW spotted them and brought them in for TnT to read over. Because his voice isnt 100% yet, Trisha joined Brian this morning and read the news for him. There was some talk of the rat Olympics, the Creighton band wagon affecting the military personnel in Fremont, the broke citys effects on the fire and police squads, and Trisha joked about accepting sperm donations from military guys who are leaving to go fight the war. Following the news, Todd and Tyler continued with their earlier discussion of Go magazines personals section. Tyler talked about an old Philadelphia newspaper he used to pick up in bus stations that had some really nasty personals in it. Trisha, too, shared a couple of stories about things she saw in the papers during her time in NYC. Brian then came into the studio and read over personal ads he had just written for every member of the Todd and Tyler show. They were very funny, which is odd to say knowing they came from BW. The guys then played the audio clip of the girl next door monologue from earlier in the week when the Spooge actresses stopped in. Todd and Tyler spoke to Stephen J. Cannell this morning. He produced and written for an ungodly amount of television shows including 21 Jump Street, Booker, Hunter, Baretta, Riptide, The A-Team, Stingray, The Rockford Files, and much more. Hes also authored a series of detective books. TnT spent some time discussing Stephens career in television, asked him of working with Robert Blake, talked about his books for a bit, and then the interview was cut short because he had to move on to the next interview his publicist had set up. Todd and Tyler were a bit disappointed, as they would have spent the next hour talking with the entertainment guru. Perhaps TnT will get the chance to speak with Mr. Cannell again on a less constraining schedule. Travis came in with this mornings sports report. Before he began, TnT brought up yesterdays discussion about mental illnesses in which was spawned by Travis claim to be bi-polar. They received a call from another bi-polar lady today and she shared a vast amount of knowledge with TnT on a variety of mental illnesses. When Trav finally got around to the sports report, there was a lot of talk about Altman and Creighton as well as some speculation on the Huskers QB situation. Todd and Tyler also noticed that ever sense Traviss gay love affair with Buddy Holly came out, hes been opening up sexually a lot more than ever before. To illustrate their point, TnT played the audio clip from the Spooge monologue where the woman says, If you want me to pee on you, thats ok. Travis followed it up each time the clip was played with an immediate and excited, OK! Stay tuned as the sexual blooming of Travis continues. Guitar master Michael Kelsey stopped in this morning and played a couple of tunes for Todd and Tyler. Hes got a really different kind of show, sort o a one-man thin, as he uses items from around the room to make the percussion noises for his tunes. Both songs he did this morning sounded very cool and from the description given by TnT, youll have to see this guy to realize exactly what it is that hes doing. You can catch Michael at the Red Eye tonight and on Sunday at Murphys. Johnny Cavanaugh from the Funny Bone stopped in this morning and hung out with Todd and Tyler for a bit. Hes opening up for Uncle Lar all week at the fabulous Funny Bone comedy club. He talked about speed dating with TnT, joined in on the personals ad discussion that carried over throughout this mornings show, and discussed how women seem to focus more on the specific ages of the guys they date while men really dont care. Make sure you call the Bone Phone at 493-8036 for reservations to see Johnny and Uncle Lar, who will be in tomorrow. To wrap up the show, Trisha and BW came back into the studio with this mornings e-news segment. Brian mentioned that hes celebrating his 3rd year anniversary with the Todd and Tyler show today so the guys talked about that for a bit. There was some more talk about Foxs Joe Millionaire because one of the final 3 was in bondage films. That led to a lengthy bondage discussion, a sexual fetish neither Todd nor Tyler really get. The guys then had a lengthy time zone discussion while trying to figure out when Jimmy Kimmels new show airs. TnT got a kick out of a story where OJ daughter finally thinks her dads an asshole, and Trisha read over a few celebrity birthdays. Speaking of birthdays, today is Todds wifes birthday. He mentioned that last year he had to play dodge ball on her birthday and she was kind of bummed out by it. This year, however, he doesnt have to play a game so hes planned something special for her. Tyler wanted to know what Todd planned for Christy but Todd wouldnt tell him. As we all know, Tyler cant keep a damn secret for s-bomb. He always blabs things on the air. So in order to get someones opinion on what he has done for his wife, Todd told Trisha his plans for their evening. Trisha seemed quite impressed. The funniest part of the whole discussion was Tyler just stewing in his chair wanting to know what Todd had planned for Christy and being pissed off that Todd whispered it to Trisha. Tell me, come on! said Tyler angrily yet humorously. Im sure well get all the details on Christys birthday tomorrow so tune in. Well, thats the update for Thursday. Make sure to tune in tonight at 10pm for the 3rd Shift Replay of this mornings show and rejoin the guys tomorrow at 5:30am for the Friday program when theyll be joined by Funny Bone comedian Uncle Lar. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby-
