| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 01-31-2003 The Todd and Tyler show started off this morning with Todd describing what he did for his wife on her birthday yesterday. He told us he got her some roses, one for each year they've been together, they had dinner, beer, and wine, and he presented her with an itinerary for a trip to Also early in the show, the guys discussed the drought and tried to figure out why the TV anchors and weathermen seem to put the blame for the drought on their viewers. ''There's nothing we can do about it!?'', the guys agreed. Todd and Tyler then read a report from the e-mail that Fred from Jack-n-Fred got blown out. They spent a little time trying to confirm the rumor but were unable to get any evidence that Fred had actually been fired. Later in the show, they found an article in the paper confirming the report from earlier in the show. BW came in with the news and to everyone's delight, his voice was nearly back to normal. During the news, the gang spent some time talking about the possible rise of cereal prices, the smell of the cereal factory near Todd's place, Africanized bee dogs, and they had a lengthy discussion about the possibility of the Earth running out of water within the next 7 years. Following the news, Todd and Tyler talked to Jim Cantore from the Weather Channel's ''Storm Stories'' program. He's the hunky, sportscaster-looking guy who's always standing in the middle of a terrible storm. He talked about his meteorology background, discussed global warming and ice core sampling, and talked with the guys about storm chasing, too. Jim was surprisingly cool for a weather geek; even Peter Van Sant from CBS's ''48 Hours'' phoned Todd and Tyler this morning and spent a few moments discussing tonight's episode. The story will revolve around the two teenage girls who were kidnapped while making out with their boyfriends somewhere in Travis came in with this morning's sports report. During his time with TnT, he discussed Alexander Payne films, the guys continued their discussion about Fred being fired, and a lengthy discussion about 6-on-6 high school girls basketball in Uncle Lar from the Funny Bone stopped in today and spent the remainder of the show with Todd and Tyler. He joined in on the topics of the day and seemed quite amused by all of the sick pedophilia and beastiality stories TnT shared with him that have occurred over the last year. Its a sick world and hes a happy guy. Call the Bone Phone at 493-8036 for reservations to see Uncle Lar this weekend. Hes one of the best. After discussing the firing of Fred of Jack-n-Fred all morning long, the guys got a hold of Fred and offered to let him come on the air and bash his old company. Fred said that he couldnt do it because hes under some sort of contract but as soon as the whole mess gets cleared up with his lawyers, he might be able to talk to TnT about the situation on their show. Fred did, however, tell the guys what happened off the air and TnT relayed it to us. Evidentally, Jack knew Fred was going to be fired the day before it happened and went so far as to do a show with him the Thursday he got blown out of the water. The thought of one partner knowing the other was going to get fired and not saying anything sent Todd and BW returned alter in the show with this mornings e-news segment. There was more talk of Foxs Joe Millionaire and the bondage freak that is a finalist to win Joes love. TnT then discussed the evolution of Michael Jacksons face, stating that his 88 face was probably his plastic surgeons best work. The guys also talked about the history of the 7-11 convenience store, they did a Who the hell is that? segment, and BW wrapped up todays e-news segment with a heartwarming story of a 20-something woman who was busted for humping on two 14-year-old boys. The fact that the woman let the father of one of the boys watch her nail his kid but wouldnt let him jump into the action amused everyone. Well thats it for the Friday update. Tune in Sunday at 10pm for the 3rd Shift Replay of this mornings show, make sure to tune in on Monday at 5:30am as the guys kick off a new week, and stop on out to the Funny Bone this weekend to catch Uncle Lar. Thanks for watching. Good night. - |
