Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by talking about yesterdays snow. They were, again, disappointed in the road conditions following the snowfall but pointed out that they realize its not the city employees fault the roads werent taken care of quicker, its the city itself for trying to save money. Brian, who was out all night plowing, was found on the couch in the office when Also early in the show, BW came in with the news a bit later in the program. One story seemed to highlight the entire newscast and, for the most part, a majority of the rest of the show. The story was of a 30-year-old father here in town who was arrested for showing his 9-year-old daughter his junk and then peeing on her. TnT agreed that the story was absolutely horrible but they did get a kick out of discussing it all morning long. In fact, BW reread the same story later in the newscast and again during the e-news segment. After a story about a Mechanicsburg man who was arrested for 200+ accounts of harassment, Todd and Tyler phoned Kelly and Matt from Cohen,Vacanti, Higgins, and Shattuck stopped in this morning and spent a couple of ours with Todd and Tyler. The gang discussed an article from the paper that centered on how much people should or should not be paying for wedding rings. With all of the divorces they have seen, TnT wanted the lawyers perspectives on the whole wedding ring price concept. They suggested not buying anything too expensive, as the price is always marked up and the man never gets the ring back after a divorce. Before they started taking calls, TnT mentioned that they wanted to focus todays questions on people who might be contemplating a divorce and are looking for advice. They received a few of those calls, which were rather interesting, but for the most part all of todays callers had similar questions to everyone else who checks in on a lawyer day. The gang took calls on custody and child support, they talked about a most-wanted mommas unscheduled visits, some lady was married to a California pirate and now wants to sue him for his boat, and after a ton of redneck callers in a row, Todd and Tyler started advising them all to try butt sex from now on, as to avoid the possibility of making more rednecks. It was yet another stellar day with the guys from Cohen, Vacanti, Higgins, and Shattuck. If youd like to get in contact with them, visit their web site at FATHERSRIGHTSLAW.COM or phone them at 345-7600. Travis came in with the sports report a little later in the show. During his time with TnT, someone said, Travs wife is better in the sack than Mother Theresa. I dont know who to credit that line to but when I heard it, I laughed heartily. Travis also spent some time picking out new wardrobe pieces from the gay magazine International Male. When he got around to sports, he did his For What It Worth segment which basically said: Former Husker basketball coach Danny Nee kind of sucks, who cares about the new Husker football recruits, and people should quit bitching to the mayor about the fish throwing guy at the UNO hockey games. Todd and Tyler spoke to Walton Goggins of FXs The Shield this morning. They began the interview by asking him how the show came about and how he landed the roll as Shane. They then moved on to discuss the types of things theyve been able to get away with on the show, some surprising for non- premium cable, and talked about some of the similarities and differences between The Shield and NYPD Blue. Walton also shared a couple of funny stories about fans, some freaks, and how the show has impacted his public persona as well as discussing the LAPDs response to the show. He said most of the every day cops love the program but it makes some o the higher-ups freak out a bit. Walton was a great interview and really seemed to enjoy talking to Todd and Tyler, so much so that he was comfortable enough with the guys to drop the BS bomb (it was hilarious). Check your local listings for The Shield on FX. I believe it airs tonight. Colleen from the Funny Bone stopped in today with Billy, a.k.a. Buddy Holly from the Buddy at the Bone show. Colleen just returned from the Stones show in BW returned late in the show with this mornings e-news segment. During this time, Todd and Tyler repeatedly read a story about former Husker Ahman Green who was busted for a drive-off after a property-damaging car accident somewhere up north. Evidentially, Ahman demanded that Channel 3 retract the news story after they did it on the air. TnT thought it would be fun to get Ahman to give them a buzz and demand that they retract the story, too, so they read it about 5 times during the last hour of their show. Also during the e-news, BW reread the peeing on the 9-year-old story, he did some celebrity birthdays, and he read a list of 10 possible new slogans for Viagra. Well, that does it for the update today. Tune in tonight at 10pm for the 3rd Shift Replay of this mornings show and make sure to rejoin the guys tomorrow at 5:30am for another show. There will be lots of talk about tomorrow nights dodge ball game in Logan Magnolia so dont miss it. Thanks for watching. Good night. - |
