| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 03-11-2003 Tuesday 3-11-03 Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning with a little more talk about the crappy Nebraska weather. They then discussed sack trimming for a bit. Todd confirmed Tyler's suggestion from yesterday stating that it's easier to trim your sack while erect. TnT also discussed last night's Creighton victory, they moved on to talk about ''Date My Mom'' and ''Married By America'', and they took a few random calls from listeners with comments on the subjects at hand. BW came in with the newscast a bit later in the show. There was a lot of discussion about the University cuts today. The guys found it amusing that the ''Museum Studies'' program is going to be slashed, wondering aloud what the hell ''Museum Studies'' encompasses. That bled over into a conversation about whether or not to pay the Husker football players. The gang moved on to talk about coked up Marines, bad punch over in Iowa, India's bleeding eye Jesus picture, peanut allergies, and pole bending. The last topic, which has something to do with horses, set BW off in an angry rant. He yelled at a few callers, seemingly having a mental meltdown. He soon calmed down and the show moved on. Matt Higgins and Chris Vacanti from Cohen, Vacanti, Higgins, and Shattuck stopped in this morning and spent a couple of hours with Todd and Tyler. Their first few calls were all happy stories, something no one was prepared for. Eventually, things took the expected turn for the worse (right where we like it) and the guys answered questions on child support, custody battles involving crops, the troubles with military divorces, 3-some divorces, Internet cheating, and 14-year-old surprise kids from Germany. It was an extra long visit with the lawyers today, covering a lot of territory. The lawyers will be back in a few weeks but if you need them before then, phone 345-7600 or visit them on the web at Father's Rights Law Center in San Diego - CA Lawyer Attorney. Travis phoned in from St. Louis this morning and discussed last night's Creighton victory at length with TnT. The gang also discussed the team's possible placement in the upcoming March Mayhem tournament. Following that, BW did this morning's sports report for Travis, who will be returning tomorrow morning. After the lawyers left, Todd and Tyler continued their discussion about the upcoming '''What would you do for a Vegas trip'' contest. Seemingly tired of the ''I'll staple my nuts to the wall'' suggestions, the guys thought they might morph the idea to fit in with the current trend of marriage TV shows. As you may recall, the subject came up earlier in today's show with talk of ''Married By America'' and ''Date My Mom''. Anyway, the ''Married By Todd and Tyler'' concept was born and the guys spent some time brainstorming ideas on exactly how the contest could work. After working out some of the details and setting a rule or two, the guys opened up the phone lines to their listeners. Calls from men began to pour in so TnT spent some time screening out undesirables. They ended up with 4 possible grooms for Friday morning's marriage show. They then got a call from a lady that got one of those Internet licenses that allow you to marry people legally. She offered her services, which TnT took her up on. Then things shifted a bit and the guys spent some time discussing logistical problems regarding blood tests, marriage licenses, waiting periods, and timing, which led BW to freak out once again and angrily ask questions that no one had the answer to. The guys also opened up the phone lines to ladies willing to get married sight-unseen on their show on Friday but there wasn't much response from the female listeners. Jeremy reported that there was one 25-year-old he spoke to off the air who showed a little interest. She is supposed to check in tomorrow. Another 21-year-old lady in before the end of the show and showed a bit of interest, too. So far, though, no ladies have officially agreed to get married live on Friday morning for the Vegas trip prize. I'm sure this concept will continue to evolve during tomorrow's show so make sure to tune in. BW returned later in the show with today's e-news segment. There was a lot of talk about Superman today, as Hollywood has found themselves in a bind regarding a new ''Superman'' movie (people are backing out left and right of the lead). Comic book geeks have also been freaking out over script and storyline changes in the work-in-progress film, which led to a lengthy conversation between TnT and BW about the Superman movie. The gang also discussed a crazy death metal sheep head projectile accident, they read over a sex offender list (featuring Father Herrick), they discussed the top 10 baseball movies, and Brian concluded with a ''Who the hell is that'' rundown for the day. Well, that does it for the Tuesday update. I know it looks a bit short considering the guys were on the air until 11am but when the lawyers come in they talk quite a bit without saying too much. Anyway, tune in tonight at 10pm for the 3rd Shift Replay and make sure you rejoin Todd and Tyler tomorrow at 5:30am for the Wednesday edition. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby-
