Tuesday 3-25-03
Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning with some discussion of the war coverage on TV. Both of the guys agreed that the 24-hour a day coverage is getting to be a bit much already and your best bet to get a wrap-up of all the news of the day is the 15-20 minute daily wrap-up the evening news does at 5:30pm. From there, the gang spent a bit more time discussing the Oscars and Michael Moores comments on the war. That then led into a discussion about the statute of limitations for getting busted humping a 14-year-old like Roman Polansky did. From there, the gang discussed their calendar for a bit, eventually got into a conversation about Tylers uncle Bobs dangly nut sack, they talked of BWs leather Harley riding outfit and they talked of Kiri and Bills wedding on their show just before their vacation.
BW came in withy the news this morning. During the local segment, there were a handful of terrible stories about mistreated kids, which BW has always delighted in. Following that, the gang spent some time discussing being called Sir by young girls. They all shared the tale of their first time realizing that young hotties no longer look at them as bangable dudes and now think of them as the Sir type. The guys then wrapped up the news with a lengthy discussion about the war coverage and the various network correspondents who are all over the
Iraq situation. They all seemed to get a kick out of the xquazi-hottie Rym, debating her ethnicity, and then pondered who will be this wars Skud Stud.
TnT phoned Kelly, their March calendar girl. She recently e-mailed them regarding a question posed to them as to whether or not you could see a piece of her butt cheek or a pie lip in the calendar photo. She confirmed that it is indeed a butt cheek, stressing that a lady knows when her pie is poking. She also told the guys that shes enjoying her last few days on the calendar, told them about a creepy guy in her office who plans to leave her month up all year, and said that both she and her mother are keeping her father in the dark about the calendars existence.
Travis came in a bit later with todays sports report. Before he got into it, the gang got into a lengthy discussion about golfing. They talked of some of the local courses, made plans to make plans to get out together for some golfing this year, and they briefly mentioned the upcoming Todd and
Tyler golf tournament, which details will soon be announced for. Travis then did his sports report, which included a list of connections between war moments and the sporting world. He concluded with todays For What Its Worth commentary, which centered on Creightons disappointing loss, how Trav is looking forward to the spring game, and how its about time some Iowa State guy got elected into the college football Hall of Fame. And before letting Trav go, TnT phoned Greg Peterson of Channel 3 to give him a hard time about his Husker suck-up comments that aired during Travs FWIW commentary last night. The guys reminded Greg that he doesnt have to suck Husker ass; he is a cock, after all!
Dennis, Dave, and Val from the Easter Seals organization came in this morning to promote an upcoming wine tasting event at the Double Tree taking place on Friday and Saturday of this week. After detailing the luscious 8 course meal that will be served on Friday (which is sold out, by the way), they popped open a few bottles and the gang sampled a variety of the nearly 200 wines that will be present for the event. The visitors hung out, drank and talked about wine, and joined in on the topics of the day. They wanted to make note that there will be no French wine at the event, for whatever political reason they have. Whack, whack. For tickets to the Saturday event, at $40 a pop, you can stop by any of the 7 Homers locations or the Winery located near the Westroads Mall. You can also get further information by phoning Easter Seals at 345-2200.
To wrap up todays show, Todd and Tyler brought BW back into the studio. He had sampled some of the wine as well so he was a bit loopy throughout the e-news segment. There were a variety of Hollywood related stories to discuss, the gang went over a list of the top 10 Oscar movie snubs of all time, there was quite a bit of discussion about Shingles and the gang concluded with an informative round of Who the hell is that?
Well, that does it for the Tuesday update. Tune in tonight at
10pm for the 3rd Shift Replay and make sure you rejoin the guys tomorrow morning at 5:30am for the Wednesday program. Unfortunately the gang wont be joined by Dr. Ed because hes on vacation. Tune in anyway! Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby-
