Friday 4-4-03

Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by discussing a variety of topics; among them was porn. Tyler talked about some German porn he watched, which featured a German hottie moaning ‘’fista’’. Todd, too, discussed his porn viewing from yesterday, which took place in his Tim O’Neill vehicle while his wife was inside throwing some sort of cackling hen jewelry party. The gang then moved on to talk about the Iraqi government’s denial that the US is whooping the holy Shi’ite out of’em.

TnT also read an e-mail or two from their listeners, which was followed up by a story from Todd about him being shot at while on a bicycle trail. As it turns out, there is some sort of trap shooting area near the park he rides in; it was not Iraqi soldiers dressed up like squirrels taking shots at Todd on his bike from the tree line. The gang also thanked the people responsible for the new PSA informing them that you shouldn’t shake babies. Without that tidbit of knowledge, the guys might have gone on shaking babies all over the place.

BW came in and after talking to TnT about his trip to the downtown Old Chicago last night where he neglected to tip a lady named Lacy, he read over today’s news. During this time, TnT created a new game called ‘’Hungry Hungry Homo’’. Don’t ask me how. The guys then talked for a bit about scenes from the movie ‘’Jackass’’, with Tyler detailing one of his favorite scenes so far (the guy who craps in the toilet in the hardware store). TnT also had a great conversation about ape suit Diekmans. Following that, Tyler said something I found to be pretty funny. ‘’David Bowie has two different color eyes. One’s blue, one’s gray. They call him ‘Civil War Face’.’’ Come to think of it, with the exception of a little ‘’On this date’’ reporting, the gang might not have done any news at all during the news portion of the show.

After the news, Brian read the results of a recent survey about breasts. The survey asked a bunch of men questions relating to breast size and so on. It was pretty clear that men like all breasts, something TnT have been espousing for years. They went ahead and filled all the ladies in the audience in once again and explained that it doesn’t matter how big or small your boobs are, they’re all awesome. Joining them in studio during the discussion was Kelly, Todd and Tyler’s newly appointed ‘’boss’’, a lady they’ve been checking in with via the phone after she sent them a complaint fax a while back.

Also joining TnT today was Dana Dyksterhuis from Channel 6. She came in as their celebrity Catholic for Big Beefy Friday. Although she claimed not to be a very committed Catholic, she wouldn’t eat Todd and Tyler’s meat no matter how hard they pushed it into her face. She said that she wouldn’t eat their meat because if her mother found out, she would be mad. Also during her visit, tried to phone Dana’s boyfriend of 4 years to ask him when he’s going to make an honest woman out of her. They got his voice mail, left him a message, and moved on.

Todd and Tyler confirmed another speed dater for their appearance at Brewsky’s this Monday night, the 28-year-old Paula. Make sure to join them at Brewsky’s beginning at 7pm on Monday for the NCAA championship basketball game.

Todd and Tyler took a call from a female listener named Karen today that has called before. She claims to find BW ‘’intriguing’’ and wanted to try once again to meet up with BW, something that evidentially never came about after her first call a while ago. TnT brought BW in to discuss possibly meeting up with the woman and that’s when Brian dropped a bomb on the audience. Brian had already told Todd and Tyler but had held off telling the audience until today that he and his wife are getting back together, just days before their divorce was to become final. TnT discussed the situation, trying to pry out of BW exactly how they decided to get back together. Brian said that they had a couple of chance encounters and after a dinner, his wife told him that she has been thinking about getting back together with him for several months, something that made BW quite happy because he didn’t want to get a divorce in the first place.

TnT opened up the phone lines and listeners began to check in with their thoughts on BW’s situation and the dynamics of relationship reconciliation. Jeremy did quite a nice job of shielding the news chick from the onslaught of men wanting to hammer the hell out of Brian for his decision to get back together with his wife. Most of the callers that got through were kind to BW and wished him well. As the show progressed, TnT continued talking about BW’s story in particular and also took calls from listeners who had their own reconciliation stories to share with the guys. Congratulations Brian. We all wish you the best. Now sell that Harley, gain 50 pounds, and bring back John Stockton!

Trav came in with the sports report a bit later in the show. He was all dressed up and when TnT asked him why, he gave two answers. At first he said it was for a billboard photo shoot. Later, he told the guys he was flying to Denver for a job interview with Fox Rocky Mountain Sports. He seemed to dwell on the latter a bit more, which would lead one to believe that is the actual reason he was dressed up today. That, topped with the fact that he’s got this week off of his TV gig, Trav might be moving up in the world. I’m sure details will follow so stay tuned.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning with a commentary on flying off a jogging machine and into a camel toe while at the gym.

Haywood Banks from the Funny Bone stopped in during the last hour of the show. He hung out with the guys for a bit, joining in on the topics of the day, and he also performed a handful of his comedy songs from his show. BW returned later in the show with today’s e-news segment. There was some discussion of Pearl Jam’s anti-Bush comments made during a show in Denver, the gang move don to talk about the movies that are coming out this weekend, BW reported on a variety of ‘’This day in history’’ subjects, and he wrapped up the e-news with a little bit of ‘’Who the hell is that?’’
