| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 04-21-2003 Monday 4-21-03 Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning with some talk about their weekend activities. Todd went up north to visit his family and on his way home, he saw two semi-trucks touch each other due to a wind gust. Tyler stayed in town and told us of a story about hearing a guy sitting next to him at the bar shout Youre gay when some yahoo stood up and said I have an announcement. From there, the guys moved on to a little TV talk. They saw the Bob Hope special on TV so they discussed that for a bit. Following the talk about one really old dude, TnT moved on to talk about another really old dude, Moses, as they discussed last nights airing of The 10 Commandments. The gang then switched gears to discuss an article in the paper about Travis. From the sounds of it, not only did Channel 3 get rid of Jenks, and not only are they getting rid of their 6pm newscast all together, but theyre cutting back big time on their sports reporting in general. Travis is still going to be employed with the station, covering big sporting events and news stories, but the actual sports segment of the show is gonzo. Channel 3 will be incorporating sports news into their actual newscast. And where does that leave Travis? Well, hes going to be doing nightly For What Its Worth segments on not only sports, but on any issue he chooses. As you might imagine, Todd and Tyler had a lot to say about this, as did Trav when he arrived later in the show. Trisha Meuret from Channel 7 came in to do the news today, as BW took a long weekend to spend some time with his family. Although theres nothing going on in her love life, she shared a story or two about her recent trip to NYC with a friend of hers. Her friend apparently knocked boots with a fireman, a likely line that Trisha and her friend totally bought into and which TnT tried to school her on later. Also during the news, TnT played Trisha their Channel 7 Dr. Ray Romano clips, including the one that features the Dr. saying, Watch me and Trisha Meuret make a baby. She flipped out, laughing uproariously yet feeling quite embarrassed. Her reaction was priceless! And also during her news report, Todd and Tyler had a lengthy discussion with Trisha about exactly where pee comes out of a woman at. TnT spoke to their newlywed couple this morning, Bill and Kiri (who was on Mumble-Phone again). Bill is apparently wearing a wedding ring while Kiri is doing everything she can to avoid Bill. The two talked with TnT back and forth for a bit and then the guys concluded their conversation with the couple by playing the parody song Bill wrote, recorded, and sent to TnT. Following that, one of Kiris friends checked in and shared with TnT more intimate details about the whacked relationship Bill and Kiri share. TnT asked her to be the official Bill and Kiri correspondent and she accepted the job. Travis came in a bit later in the show with todays sports report. Even though hes no longer doing a lot of sports on Channel 3, hell still do it daily for TnT. Travis also said that he would be doing each nights For What Its Worth segment on the next days TnT show. The guys had a very lengthy conversation about exactly what went down over at 3 and why the switch has occurred. Travis seemed quite excited to have the opportunity to become Omahas Andy Rooney. The change officially takes place tonight so make sure you tune into the 10pm newscast and watch Travis on day 1 of his new gig! Congrats Attaboy! Attaboy! Um, that sounds weird. James the Giant Peach came in today and spent some time talking with TnT about his trip to the Cher concert over the weekend. Due to his baby taking a flying leap off the top ropes of her crib, Peach was only able to see 1 song of Chers show. He had to leave in order to run is daughter to the hospital (shes okay, though, thankfully!). Wex also came in studio and talked about seeing the Cher show the following evening with his family. There was plenty of talk about the homosexual men dancing wildly at the live performance much like they did a few weeks ago during Chers televised concert. Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning and delivered a whacked commentary on how he cant stand Cher. It was pretty funny stuff. Larry also talked briefly with TnT about how bad the Huskers are going to be this year, a conversation spawned by Travis discussing the annual Spring Game that he witnessed this weekend. Stay tuned for more from the Cable Guy as the week progresses. Trisha returned later in the show with todays e-news segment. The gang spent some time discussing cluster bombs, movies recently out, and reality TV. Trishas excited about the piece of crap Mr. Personality that debuts tonight, while TnT discussed their pleasure with the downfall of reality shows. The gang also spent some time talking about Sweeps Week for TV, which starts on Thursday. And before wrapping up todays e-news and this mornings show, the guys had a lengthy conversation about the dynamics of a gay 3-some, as featured on last nights episode of Six Feet Under on HBO. A gay listener checked in and informed the guys that when theres one in the butt and one in the mouth its referred to as being air locked, which they seemed to get a kick out of. Im sure well hear more about gay 3-somes tomorrow so tune in. Well, that does it for todays update. Tune in tonight at 10pm for the 3rd Shift Replay and make sure to rejoin the guys tomorrow at 5:30am for the Tuesday edition. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby- |
