| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 05-08-2003 Thursday 5-8-03 Todd and Tyler began their show this morning with a little talk about yesterday. Tyler went to the zoo with his dad, wife and daughter for the first time since 95. He commented on how dark the Kingdom of the Night exhibit is and then discussed how anyone looking at the gorillas at the zoo could not dispute evolution. The gang then played a little What was I watching before giving us all a rundown of the events to expect out of this mornings show. BW came in with the news shortly after. Before he began, the guys played yesterdays rant about Nell Carters corpse and mushrooms that occurred late in the show. It was as funny and disturbing again today. From there, BW got into the newscast and the guys talked about the terrible hazing video from an IL high school that showed the senior girls beating the tar out of the junior girls. They also talked about the sick pud lady who ran over a 3-5-6month old kid with her car yesterday (Ive heard variations on the kids age from nearly every news source in town
way to gather facts 3, 6, 7, 42). Brian also did a gripping story about stolen windows. Luckily, though, the story actually spawned some interesting BW history, as he shared tales of being a drunken 10-year-old and ripping off lumber from a guys second addition to build a fort. TnT also had a lengthy separation of Church and State discussion during the news. Bobcat checked in this morning and spent about a half hour talking to Todd and Tyler about a variety of things. He was recently on an episode of CSI, where he played a murdering comedian, so he talked with the guys about what that was like and how he got the part. Bobcat said his agent was surprised to hear that he appeared on the show, which goes to show you how out of the loop his agent actually is. From Bobcats account, everyone on CSI was great to work with. The then talked about shooting for a new movie that hes directing. The story on the film was very confusing. From the sounds of it, Bobcats hired an actor to play a roll for a film. The film is fake but the actor isnt told. Then Bobcat and his guys put the actor through hell. Im sure well hear more about it in the future. Bobcat also talked about his dad, the magician, who performs mostly for senior citizens, Old people really believe he has powers, before moving on to talk about performing at the Mall of America tonight. Travis came in with todays sports report. Before he got into it, he surprised us all by saying that he believes that there is an evolutionary process but doesnt necessarily hold to the fact that all life began as a single-celled organism. Trav then did todays sports and last nights FWIW, which was about a recent global cities study that concluded Omaha has nothing but the zoo. Mark Baker from Personalized songs - the ultimate unique gift for the special occasions and special people in your life. checked in this morning and talked with TnT about the Mothers Day songs his company is doing for people this time of year. He worked up a Mothers Day tune for BWs mom on behalf of TnT, which they played this morning. Mark mentioned that if you order a CD today, your mother will receive it by Saturday. For details, check out his web site at Personalized songs - the ultimate unique gift for the special occasions and special people in your life. or give them a call at 1-800-725-SONG. TnT took a call from a listener named Kim this morning who wanted advice on how to go about arranging a 3-some. She wants to hook up with another woman so she and her husband can bang her as a 14th anniversary present. She talked with the guys about avenues shes already tried to find a woman but none have worked. TnT offered up a suggestion or two but seemed to focus much of their end of the conversation diving into the dynamics of exactly how and why Kim agreed to help her husband nail a stranger. Todd and Tyler spoke to Collin Sanders this morning. Hes the coach of the Omaha Beef, who is playing the Lincoln Capitals tonight. They discussed coaching for a bit, moved on to talk about the rivalry between Lincoln and Omaha, and they covered the various conferences within the league. Keep in mind that Todd and Tyler, along with the Fish Heads, will be out at the Beef game at the Civic tonight from 5 to 7pm. Make sure to stop on out. And speaking of the Fish Heads, that gang of drunken fools appeared in studio this morning and performed a couple of tunes for TnT, including a killer cover of a Poison tune. Theyll be performing in Lincoln at P.O. Pears tomorrow night in case you happen to miss them at the Beef game with TnT tonight. Stop on out at either event and see the Fish Heads funk up (islandy) the stage. Todd and Tyler spoke to Alex Strauss from Maxim magazine this morning regarding an article in this months mag called The Wingman Training Manual. Basically, the article is about things TnT have discussed for years when going out with their buddies. Taking one for the team, backing up your buddys stories when his wife questions them, getting your friend home safe, and things of that nature were all things covered in the article and by TnTs lives. The gang also talked about what its like working for Maxim, one of their favorite magazines. Alex seemed quite impressed that TnT not only read the magazine but had actually lived the very life his wingman article was about. Hopefully the guys will keep in touch with the folks at Maxim. It was a very cool interview today that made for a large mental meal. Officers Meg and Tom from the Omaha Police Department stopped by the studio later in todays show to discuss Police Week. It begins Saturday with a run for the Special Olympics and a gathering at Saturdays Royals Game and there are a variety of other event staking place throughout the remainder of the week. Officer Tom then talked with TnT about Travis because it was his police dog that chewed up Attaboy for that KM3 news story a while ago. TnT also discussed various names the police get called by criminals before moving into a hilarious discussion about drug dogs and horse cops running down bad guys on the interstate. BW returned towards the end of todays show with a condensed version of the e-news. He did the Who the hell is that list, discussed an old James Bond falling down, and the only other thing I got out of the e-news was that William Shatner is in a legal battle over horse sperm. Well, that does it for the Thursday update. Tune in tomorrow at 5:30am for the Friday program and make sure to catch tonights 3rd Shift Replay airing at 10pm. Also remember to join TnT out at the Civic with the Fish Heads tonight from 5-7pm. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby-
