| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 05-30-2003 Friday 5-30-03 Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning with a little talk about the upcoming Whalers concert at the Anchor Inn taking place in mid June. They wondered whether or not the police just follow around the band looking to bust them for pot possession. That led into a brief discussion about Canadas attempts to decriminalize pot possession and how its pissing off the US government. From there, Tyler talked about catching the stomach flu, which left him with the urge to puke while at the mall yesterday. Black Tony also joined the guys in studio early on and talked with the guys about how Tyler forgot him down at the Anchor last Sunday. From there, TnT discussed Dave Attells upcoming visit to the Omaha Funny Bone. BW came in with the news a bit later in the show. The gang discussed a variety of local stories before getting into a lengthy argument about taxes, which they really didnt want to do but couldnt help themselves. The guys also took a call from a jealous wife who told them her husband wants to get together with an old female friend while shes in town for a visit. She asked TnT if she had anything to worry about. The guys, unclear on the details, gave her both yes and no answers throughout the call. Before concluding, the guys asked her if she would have any reason not to trust her husband. She replied with, I dont trust HER. That set TnT off on a rant as they explained that men can be trustworthy and that old I dont trust her concept is pretty silly and just a convenient way for a woman to shut her man down yet make herself still feel like shes giving her guy the benefit of the doubt. Also during the news BW did a story on the annual spelling bee ESPN broadcasts. The guys then got into a discussion about spelling bees with Jeremy admitting to being one of the top 10 spellers in Platte County and Tyler admitting to being the best at subtraction the world has ever seen. The discussion then took a turn and the guys spent some time talking about home schooling, as most of the spelling bee kids are taught by their parents. The guys took a call from Rita of the Good Will this morning. There was recently a news story about all of the junk people are leaving as donations, crap that the Good Will spends more than $100,000 a year to dispose of. She politely asked everyone who might be making a donation to distinguish between things that might be useful and helpful and things that should just be disposed of. TnT seemed happy to pass along her request. Todd and Tyler spoke to Hall of Famer, Anthony Munoz this morning. Hes coming to town as part of Boomers big golf tournament, the Nebraska Golf Classic, which will be taking place on Sunday and Monday. He spoke with the guys about some of the celebrities that will be attending the event as well as discussing his career with the Bangles. He informed TnT that hes not quite as beat up as their buddy Rimington. Anthony also talked with the guys about his sons college football career and possible NFL hopes. When asked if he had ever lined up with his boy, Anthony jokingly said, Im no genius but Im not that dumb, then filling TnT in on the massive size of his boy Michael. Anthony also told TnT hes got a daughter thats playing college basketball so aside from his duties as a spokesman for a variety of Cincinnati based companies, his kids sporting events keep him quite busy. It was a great conversation with Anthony Munoz this morning and Im sure well hear it on an upcoming Best Of show so if you missed it today, stay tuned. Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning for the first time since his recent vacation. He delivered a commentary on the woman that wants to wear her burka in her drivers license photograph, which was quite funny. Larry will check in again next week with more clever commentaries from the realm of neck-dom. Marc Ryan from the Funny Bone joined TnT in studio this morning and spent some time hanging out with the guys. He joined in on the topics of the day and seemed to enjoy his time on the TnT show. He talked with the guys about his recent Star Search experience and told the guys about how he was told not to look directly into the Judd. He shared his opinions on the whole home schooling discussion from earlier and really got a kick out of a surprise Jose from the Latino station brought in for the guys during the e-news. Make sure to catch Marc Ryan at the Funny Bone all weekend. Call 493-8036 for reservations. BW returned later in the show with todays e-news segment. Before he really began, the guys got a surprise visit from Jose of the Spanish speaking station down the hall. With him he brought in 6 hottie Latino girls that he found at an event sponsored by his station and Miller Light. The 6 girls are now the official Miller Light girls of South O. The room full of guys, as you might imagine, mentally shut down with the visuals and smells of the hotties in studio. They talked a bit about how the girls were chosen as the Miller Light girls, asked them to say some things just to hear their hot voices and accents, and then TnT eventually got the girls to dance for them (admittedly self indulgent but who cares!) After the ladies left and the brains turned back on, BW continued the e-news with some talk about Jennifer Annistons hairy body, he read over a Sex Offender list, Brian shared some Hallmark cards that never made it (from a forwarded e-mail) and he wrapped up the e-news with a terrible story about a guy that cut the tails off of some dogs and humped them using their blood as a sexual lubricant. Luckily Marc Ryan was able to bring a little humor to the disturbing story by saying, Im whipping you with your own tail! as he simulated humping the pooch. Todd and Tyler are going to be out at Hooters on Saturday at 6pm for an arm wrestling contest. Both men and women are welcome to participate so make sure you stop out and see the guys for the event. That does it for the Friday update. Tune in on Sunday at 10pm for the 3rd Shift Replay of this mornings show and make sure to rejoin the guys on Monday at 5:30am as they begin another week of programming. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby- |
