| Administrator ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 06-04-2003 Wednesday 6-4-03 Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by playing a tune from a CD full of cover tunes from the old Mo Town days. They spent a few minutes playing clips from the CD as Tyler tried to guess which artist covered the songs. TnT then spent some time discussing the AFI 100 greatest villains and heroes in movies, reading over the top 10 bad guys and good guys from the list. They then moved on to talk about Travs FWIW last night, which was about how Sarpy County is considering NASCARing up their cop cars. BW came in with the news a bit later in the show. He delivered a story about some kids in Lincoln whose mother let them get sunburned to the point of blistering. There was some talk about a 23-year-old Omaha woman who was recently married in Hawaii but was found dead after evidentially falling out of a 7-story window in her hotel. The guys then moved on to share some details about the police officer who was allegedly there when the motorcycle racing accident happened recently, the story TnT discussed yesterday at length. The gang then moved on to talk about Hilarys new book, which gives details about the day Bill told her that he had been on the receiving end of a Monica mouth. They dwelled on what Bills live must be like now and what Hilary probably says to him every time Monicas chubby face pops up on TV. It was hilarious. After the news, Todd and Tyler were joined by Dr. Ed live from his basement in Tyler, TX. They began with some talk about Dr. Eds Rice Owls, Hoot! Hoot! before moving on to the medical questions of the day. There were a variety of topics covered this morning including breast feeding other peoples kids, snoring, taint pain, Gigantor throck syndrome, peeing blood, Bridal-Fly-like pubic hairs, and whether or not vibrators can cause shaken baby syndrome. Dr. Ed also joined in on the sports talk when Travis arrived a bit later. He told TnT that if his Owls make it to the CWS, hell be coming to town for a visit. We should hear from Dr. Ed in another few weeks so if you didnt get a chance to have your medical question on the air today, stay tuned. Larry the Cable Guy checked in today and delivered a commentary on buying porn magazines at convenient stores while dressed as a cowboy, which was weird but funny. He also talked about the Blue Collar Tour movie, which is now available on DVD. He told TnT hed send them a few if the company that produced them ever got around to sending him any. Larry will check in again later in the week so stick around. Travis came in with his sports report and FWIW commentary. The gang spent some time talking about Travs comments on whether or not its okay for the Sarpy County police department to have their vehicles paid for by advertising on the cars, much like NASCAR. He then dove into his sports report, which included quite a bit of talk about Sammy Sosas corked bat, how it will effect his future, and if there will be any consequences when it comes to Sosas outstanding hitting record being tainted from here on out. There was also quite a bit of college baseball talk, as the CWS is approaching quickly. A bit later in the show, Todd and Tyler spoke to Harold Dow of CBSs 48 Hours. He described a story called The Canal Street Brothel that will air tonight and centers around three generations of hookers in a New Orleans brothel, a grandmother, mother, and daughter. He told TnT that CBS spent 8 months investigating the story and tonight, all the sorted details will come out. He joked about how there were probably a lot of New Orleans people sweating profusely in fear that their names will come out as part of the investigation. TnT got a kick out of that. You can catch The Canal Street Brothel story on KM3 tonight at 9pm. BW returned with todays e-news segment following the Harold Dow interview. The guys started off with the list of AFIs greatest villains and heroes in movies. They read through the list of 50 in each category and analyzed their position on the list. While doing so, BW pointed out how many of the movies he has seen and I believe the total only came to 17. He hasnt even seen The Usual Suspects yet! The gang also talked about another Dixie Chick backlash in the neck community. That was followed up with a little Golden Girls talk, which lead nicely into a discussion about last nights Ms. Universe pageant. Brian then put a twist on Who the hell is that? He turned it into a quiz, giving the age, a few subtle hints, and then he let TnT guess the celebrity birthdays. Following that, the BW wrapped up the e-news with a story about a guy who hung himself in the backseat of a police car. Well, that does it for the Wednesday update. Tune in tonight at 10pm for the 3rd Shift Replay of todays show and make sure you rejoin Todd and Tyler tomorrow at 5:30am for the Thursday program. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby-
