| Straight Pimpin ![]() | TnT Show 07-02-2003 Wednesday 7-2-03 Todd and Tyler started off their show with some talk about Tyler’s trip to the Nobbies yesterday afternoon. He and his wife went there to pick up some red, white, and blue decorations for their July 4th party. While there, Tyler found himself reverting to his on-air personality, as he bitched about the ‘’religious’’ signs all over the place. The signs he was referring to read, ‘’God Bless America’’, which everyone got a kick out of. The guys then spent some time talking about the end of yesterday’s show. When the guys went off the air, Todd was out having a smoke, which left Tyler alone in the studio with Midget Brian. Tyler didn’t want to hang around so he closed out the show without Todd, sounding a bit pissed. Evidentially, a bunch of people thought Tyler was really pissed off because TnT kept getting asked about it all day. It turns out, though, that after the guys left the air, Tyler wasn’t that mad and just moved on with the day. BW returned to the show this morning and delivered the day’s newscast. The gang discussed a story about a local area delinquent that tossed an object off of an interstate overpass and killed a poor woman overnight. They then moved on to talk about a body found in a car, dog dreams, a firework induced house fire, and giving blood. The gang also spent quite a bit of time talking about how former Husker Thunder Collins was busted for beating up his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend outside of Portland, OR. TnT discussed the story and speculated on exactly what happened. Guessing that Funder probably had to take a flight to get there and by the reports, he took a cab 90 miles from Portland to get to his ex-girlfriend’s place, TnT wondered why Funder didn’t cool off and realize how stupid he was being during the travel time. The guys also speculated on how much a 90-mile cab ride would cost so they called a Portland cab company for a price quote. It ended up coming to around $200. Dr. Ed joined the guys from his basement in Tyler, TX. He started off his visit with some talk about his national champion Rice Owls. Later, he answered a bunch of medical questions for TnT and their listeners, which included talk about the fat content of blooming onions, the effects of bear spray, vasectomy pains, hick-ups, bent penises, virginity restoration, delayed periods, and race-related vagina size. It was yet another great visit with Dr. Ed this morning. If you happened to miss him on the show today, he’ll be returning again in a few weeks so stay tuned. Ralston mayor Don Grosser stopped by the studio this morning and hung out with TnT for a bit. While there, the guys discussed the upcoming Ralston parade, which TnT always take part in. The guys also talked about the infamous ‘’gentleman’s agreement’’, which has protected Ralston from annexation for years. It should be a great time, as always, so join Todd and Tyler and the whole Z staff in Ralston on the 4th for the Ralston parade. Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning and talked with the guys about Carney Wilson’s vagina. He also delivered a commentary based on inaccuracies in history, which he was happy to clear up. Larry may check back in again tomorrow for one final update before the 3-day weekend. Trav came in with this morning’s sports report a bit later in the show. During his time with the guys, there was quite a bit more talk about the Thunder incident with further speculation on the story shared by everyone. There was also some religious talk, which was spawned by a recent FWIW commentary delivered by Trav on the KM3 10pm newscast. BW returned later in the show and delivered this morning’s e-news. To kick off the segment, we were treated to a ‘’Brianism’’, as he referred to a drunk person as ‘’a slush’’ instead of ‘’a lush’’. The gang then discussed the logistics of a baggie full of cocaine after an Emenem-related story, there was some ‘’Battle Star Galactica’’ talk, a little discussion about the downfall of reality TV, and BW read over some current event trivia questions. The last part of the e-news seemed to be filled with calls from listeners sharing stories about trying to smuggle illegal fireworks across the Missouri border. TnT also took some calls from people in the law enforcement and those who have sold fireworks in the past, each group of people sharing interesting details of the smuggling industry. Well, that does it for the Wednesday update. Tune in tonight at 10pm for the 3rd Shift Replay and make sure to rejoin the guys tomorrow at 5:30am for the last live show of this week. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby-
