| Straight Pimpin ![]() | TnT Show 07-09-2003 Wednesday 7-9-03 Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning with a little talk about the stormy weather. They disputed a statement made by Channel 6’s Jim Flowers who said that today was going to be nice even though there are 30 MPH winds expected later. The guys then read an e-mail from a scheduled Parade of Panties girl that said she would not be coming up today because she didn’t want to ‘’degrade’’ herself or ‘’risk certain relationships’’. TnT took that as the e-mailer’s fat friends have talked her out of participating. As an alternative, though, TnT took a phone call from 2 hot 18-year-olds who offered to take her place. While awaiting the first Parade of Panties girls, TnT moved on to discuss an article from the Council Bluffs newspaper about the gay rodeo. They then talked about the Huskers being ranked 36th in the pre-season pole and that led to comments about how they believe Travis should drop the FWIW crap and give them some sports. Todd and Tyler’s Parade of Panties continued all morning long as onlookers in the parking lot pulled out their lawn chairs, coolers, and umbrellas to catch the show. The first girls to arrive this morning, Jamie and Andrea, were 18-year-old soon-to-be seniors at Millard North. When they walked into the studio, Tyler gave a heartfelt ‘’Oh my god!’’ Later, 22-year-old Melissa arrived in the parking lot, stripped to her panties and walked to the studio for her free Z-Bash tickets. Later in the show, Todd and Tyler’s calendar girl Summer stopped in wearing her dry walling stilts and underwear, which turned everyone on greatly. Also joining TnT later in the day for their Parade of Panties were listeners Christy and Kerri. All in all, the quality of ladies taking part in today’s parade really seemed to impress the guys. There were no beer guts. BW came in with the news a bit later in the show. There was more talk about putting fences on overpasses, the gang discussed diseased dead rabbits, TnT got a kick out of a story out of Virginia featuring a 4H fight club filled with 10-year-old boys, and the guys discussed a story about a man who woke up from a 19-year coma. They also spoke to Greg Peters of KM3, who helped them clear up details about a story of a rocket-shaped playground apparatus that was supposedly stolen from a local park. He also told TnT that today is his birthday and for that reason, he has the day off. He’s hitting the golf course for a round. That led to a later discussion about how silly it is for grownups to take their birthday off of work. Senator Ben Nelson phoned Todd and Tyler this morning and spent some time talking with the guys about his recent trip to Iraq. There was lots of talk about the morale of the troops and how Saddam must be taken out in order for the people of Iraq to stop picking off our soldiers one by one in piss-ant sneak attacks. The guys also talked with Ben about the Huskers a bit before moving back into the realm of politics as they talked about some recent comments Bush made and whether or not Johans will be running against Ben in the future. Ben Nelson then spoke about upcoming things on the Senate’s agenda. It was great to hear from Senator Ben Nelson again. I’m sure he’ll join the guys on the show again in the near future so stay tuned. Roz came in studio today and spoke with TnT about a remote she and BW will be taking part in this evening at the Harley shop off of 73rd and L Street. They’ll be there from 6 to 8pm and will end up going to the Red Eye tavern a bit later. You’ll be able to purchase your raffle tickets for Roz’s motorcycle give-away this summer tonight and she’ll also have information about a poker run this weekend. Fur further details feel free to give her a buzz at 960-0206. Trav came in with this morning’s sports report a bit later in the show. Along with doing the sports, the guys spent some time talking with Trav about his FWIW commentary last night, which was all about a Cincinnati law that requires panhandlers to register with the city. Larry the Cable Guy phoned in this morning and delivered a commentary about the death of Buddy Epson, referring to this week as ‘’a sad week’’. Larry will most likely check in again as the week moves on so stay tuned for more. BW returned later in the show with today’s e-news. There was some talk about Britney Spears finally admitting to banging Justin Timberlake, TnT discussed the Beetles, the guys found out that Meatloaf has broken intestines because he swallowed a whole ham, and BW did a bunch of other e-news stuff, including today’s ‘’Who the hell is that’’ list and there was some more useless trivia knowledge shared. Well, that does it for the Wednesday update. Tune in tonight at 10pm for the 3rd Shift Replay and make sure to rejoin the guys tomorrow at 5:30am for the Thursday show. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby-
