Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning with some talk about today’s World Herald. They didn’t seem surprised to find an article about Eric Crouch leaving the Packers on the front page along with the big global news of Saddam’s sons being taken out yesterday. The talk of Crouch led into a brief discussion about Trav’s FWIW last night, which was about the same subject. TnT took a second to analyze Crouch’s possible future career choices, things lots of other former Huskers have done when their pro football careers didn’t work out, and the gang figured he could either sell insurance, real estate, or become a financial planner. Also early in the show, the guys talked about the summer doldrums we’re going through right now and gave a nod to Sigerson and McPherson for sparking much conversation for their show lately. They later spoke to the father of the girl involved in the Red Robin case who thanked TnT for their support and not letting the story be swept under the rug. TnT also took a few other early morning phone calls and discussed a little crappy summertime TV. BW came in a bit later in the show and spent some time talking with TnT about a shopping trip he and his wife took to a local department store yesterday. While at the store, BW’s wife’s credit card slipped out of her pocket and onto the ground somewhere within the store. When they got to the register to pay for their items, they noticed the card gone and had to spend the better part of an hour looking for the missing plastic. Unfortunately, they were unable to find it, which led BW to assume that some one found the card and made off with it. He was understandably upset. That tale then led Todd into a consumer story of his own about how he attempted to hire a cobbler, yes a shoe fixer, to patch up a hole in his camping tent. The cobbler, a crotchety old guy obviously pissed off at the world because nobody in their right mind has had use for a cobbler for about 200 years, didn’t want to bother fixing Todd’s tent for him. BW delivered this morning’s newscast a bit later in the program. There was plenty of talk about Crouch leaving the packers, Saddam’s sons being killed, and a fire in a Following the news, the gang spent some time discussing a Cosmo magazine article that detailed various thoughts men have about sex that they wanted to relay to women, the readers of Cosmo. Jessica Dol joined the guys in studio for the conversation, interjecting her thoughts on the topics. Some of the types of things on today’s list included what part of their bodies men like to have touched, how a guy wants a woman to let him know she’s ready for some throck, what guy’s horny spots are, and what’s sexy after having sex. Todd and Tyler spoke to their dream expert friend Lauri Loewenberg of TheDreamZone.com today. She spent some discussing and analyzing a variety of dream types with the guys including sexual dreams, gay themed dreams, being chased dreams, water-filled dreams, murder dreams, and dreams about having sex with your ex. She also took a few phone calls from TnT show listeners and helped them sort out what their subconscious mind was really trying to tell them. Before ending the call today, Lauri pimped her new book, “So, What Did You Dream Last Night”, a coffee table book that you can purchase through her web site. I’m sure we’ll hear from Lauri again in the future so dream on. Trav came in a bit later in the show with this morning’s sports report. Along with the sports, he discussed his FWIW commentary last night about Crouch leaving the Green Bay Packers. A bit later in the show, Todd and Tyler spoke to Eric Crouch about his reasons for leaving the pro football team. From the sounds of it, the Packers weren’t going to put him where he wanted to go, said something about him being part of the practice team, and there was a reference to a year and a half stint in the European football league that didn’t seem to tweak Crouch’s interest. For those reasons, he decided to call it quits and head back to Following the Crouch talk, Todd and Tyler hit the Internet and brought up a Libertarian web site. In recent weeks, they’ve expressed their thoughts on how Travis seems less and less Republican lately. On the web site they pulled up a quick political quiz, which they gave to Travis, to find out if he would fit in the Libertarian realm. After answering all ten questions about where he stands on various issues, the web site reported back to Todd and Tyler that Travis is an Authoritarian, somewhere between a Socialist and a Fascist. They got a kick out of that. A bit later in the show, BW returned with today’s entertainment report. As he read through each story, TnT began to bore with BW and decided to interject some more things from the Cosmo, things women shouldn’t do in bed. BW took the hint and read over a food trivia quiz instead. He followed that up with today’s “Who the hell is that” and afterwards, TnT took a few minutes to play a variety of clips from everyone on the show saying embarrassing things such as Jeremy’s “I’m licking my balls right now!”, BW’s “I suck, I suck my friend Craig”, and Trav’s “Harder Daddy, harder!”. BW and Well, that does it for the Wednesday update. Tune in tonight at
