| Straight Pimpin ![]() | TnT Show 07-30-2003 Wednesday 7-30-03 Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by reading over a hate e-mail from a religious listener that was upset at Jessica for admitting to having sex and mad at Travis in general. The e-mailer, commenting on TnT’s conversation yesterday with the guy from the Station Family Fund, also stated that those who were killed in the Rhode Island nightclub fire got what they deserved because rock music is the Devil’s music. TnT went on a little rant about the e-mailer’s comments before moving. The guys then spent some time talking about something that they saw on last night’s episode of the new FX program “Nip and Tuck”, which is all about the lives of a couple of plastic surgeons. On the episode, the teenaged uncircumcised son of one of the doctors decided to give himself a circumcision with a pair of scissors after his willing-for-sex girlfriend caught her first glimpse of his “ant eater”. The character learned how to do it by Googling “home circumcision” so TnT emulated his search and found out that there is actually information on the web about how to cut off your own foreskin. The site that they brought up was actually that of a fake church and seemed to be kind of a joking site about home circumcision, asking, “Does your penis look like Jesus’?” A bit later in the show, BW came in with today’s newscast. There was a lot more union and city budget talk as well as even more on the gripping story out of La Vista about the woman upset that she has to fence in her child’s small, inflatable pool because she was turned in by a busybody neighbor. Also in the news was a report out of Lincoln of yet another group of crazy cat ladies. These two women had 81 cats removed from their homes. Following that, the gang spent some time discussing where Nebraska and Iowa stood the Civil War and the Confederate Flag. From there, the gang moved on to discuss the proposal of an all gay student high school being built in New York. Following the news, Todd and Tyler were joined by Dr. Ed. The gang spent the next few hours discussing a variety of medically related questions that they had as well as taking calls from listeners with questions for the doctor. Topics today included brain tumors, home circumcisions, blood pressure and sex, body fat percentages, vertigo, lactose intolerance, popping ears, “perma-rag”, sweaty wrists, and more. The gang also read over a few medical things from a recent article in Men’s Health Magazine, which they discussed at length. Later in the show, Dr. Ed also talked a little sports with TnT, as they discussed the upcoming football season. Travis phoned in from the road today. He was on his way to Kansas City to cover the Big 12 meeting taking place down there. From the sounds of it, he’s not really looking forward to the meeting because, as we’re all aware, it’s nothing but a bunch of coaches spouting out sports clichés over and over, the same clichés we’ve heard every year since the beginning of time. Travis predicted a few of the clichés he expected to hear, with TnT interjecting their own predictions. Following their conversation with Travis, BW came in with the sports report for the guys.
Jeremy, who has been on the road to Ohio for some roller coaster riding with his girlfriend, checked in this morning to give TnT a review of the big, bad coaster he and his girlfriend recently road. He stood in line for 3 hours for the 20-second ride but seemed to enjoy it nonetheless. During his call, TnT brought in Jessica Dol, Jeremy’s old girlfriend, and told Jeremy that Jessica finally has had some sex. Jeremy, sitting next to his current girlfriend, couldn’t really comment on Jessica’s newfound fountain of love. It was rather funny. Instead, Jeremy moved on to tell TnT about his plans for the rest of his trip, which include a visit to the Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. I’m sure we’ll get a review when he returns. BW came in later in the show with today’s e-news segment. He started off by listing some US films that have been banned in Malaysia, he then discussed a “Spaniard” getting hired by Entertainment Tonight, and he followed that up with today’s “Who the hell is that?” Brian then read over a lengthy Oscar related quiz for Todd and Tyler. As he read the questions, the guys answered them, most of them without even needing the choices. BW also provided us with a top 10 western movie list, which TnT discussed for a bit. To close the e-news and today’s show, BW’s “And finally” was a heartwarming story about a riot that broke out at a wedding, which landed nearly everyone in jail. Tomorrow is the big Great White concert at the Anchor Inn and if all works out as planned, some of the band will be joining Todd and Tyler in studio during their show. It should be cool so make sure to tune in from 5:30am to 10am. Remember, if you missed today’s show, you can catch it as it airs tonight at 10pm as the 3rd Shift Replay. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby-
