Tuesday 8-26-03

Todd and Tyler began their show this morning by reading over several e-mails. One came from a listener that wanted to save TnT's souls, one came from someone hoping their souls burn in hell, and one was from a listener that enjoys the show. From there, the gang spent some time talking about retarded people who wear tube socks before moving on to discuss the sports situation on KM3, Trav's FWIW last night about how the child molesting priest that was recently killed in prison "didn't deserve to die", a little more Z-Bash talk, and a conversation about last night's pre-season Monday Night Football game.

BW joined the guys a bit later with today's newscast. During his visit with the guys, they discussed police being forced to buy their own equipment, they had a lengthy conversation about college parties, talk of a shady Sarpy County bait shop deal, whether or not bones carry DNA, and they looked at a few photos of potential calendar hotties. Later, TnT spoke to both of the girls that submitted photos. BW also shared a story about a real life Doogie, there was a conversation about why French people are skinny, and he wrapped up today's newscast with a heartwarming story about a 74-year-old lottery winner that decided to dump her husband after her win.

Travis came in and joined in on the topics of the morning. Before diving into his sports report, the gang discussed his FWIW commentary last night about how that child molesting priest that was recently killed in jail didn't deserve to die. TnT disputed Trav's opinion and the gang went round and round for a bit. The guys then took a couple of FWIW suggestions from listeners including one from a guy who wants to know why it's illegal for women to walk around topless in public but men can do the same thing with no legal consequences.

Later, Travis did his sports report, which included a ton of talk about college football. And while on the college football talk, Todd and Tyler welcomed Jimmy to the studio, the host of "Cornhusker Insider" on Sports 1490AM. He talked with the guys about why his new co-host, Tommy Frazier won't do the TnT show. They also talked at length about the upcoming Husker season. If you're interested in catching Jimmy's Husker show, tune in to 1490 tomorrow at 6pm or check him out broadcasting live from the AmeriSports Bar. After Jimmy left, the Husker talk continued with phone calls from listeners. TnT seemed to tire of the Husker talk pretty quickly, though.

BW returned later in the show with today's e-news segment. The gang discussed the Johnny Cash video for "Hurt", there was some talk about Mel Gibson's Jesus movie pissing off a bunch of people, and BW read over a list of the best guitarists of all time, with everyone in studio giving their opinions. That last topic somehow morphed into a strange yet hilarious conversation about various forms of bread and their relations to the cooter. Brian then read over today's "Who the hell is that" list and followed that up with an interesting list of myths about men. The gang spent some time talking about each of the myths, many of which they were happy to hear others realize they are myths.
