Todd and Tyler began their show this morning with some talk about the recently announced Aerosmith / Kiss concert that is coming to the new arena in November. The guys seemed happy to have such a big concert coming to down although they were a bit surprised at the very high ticket prices. I believe they mentioned that the best tickets, which won’t even guarantee you get in the first 15 rows, will cost around $127 with prices dropping from there the further back you get. The gang then moved on to discuss reports of problems between Vince Neil and Bret Michaels on their current tour, apparently over a girl. Following that, there was a bit of talk about last night’s “Nip/Tuck” on FX, the guys explained that neither of them could stay up to see what Trav had to say on FWIW, and the gang played a couple of “Todd and Tyler audio orgy” clips pieced together by using clips of phone sex operator Laurie’s messages along with Charlie’s disturbing male orgasm clip and several sound bites from things people have recently said on the TnT show.

BW came in a bit later with this morning’s news report. TnT spent some time talking more about the city budget and how former mayor Hal Daub is working his way back into the news for a suspected mayoral race run. They continued with some West Nile talk, as Deb Ward of KM3 last night made it seem as though being “over 50” was old. The news continued with a story about a Blair student that was suspended for being on the receiving end of a cattle prod attack, BW shared another disturbing tale about his explosive diarrhea problem, and the news wrapped up with a story about a kid that mailed himself to his parents in Texas.

Dr. Ed joined the guys this morning for a few hours of medical question and answer. During his visit with TnT today the gang discussed such topics as what happens to your body when you jump off a building or out of a plane, peeing on your own feet to cure athletes foot, the quitting smoking shot recently talked about on TV, funny diseases such as Narcolepsy, and the guys talked about snoring and whether or not people have a butt hole bone. Dr. Ed will be rejoining Todd and Tyler in a couple of weeks so if you didn’t get a chance to phone in today with your medical question, remember it for next time.

Travis stopped in today and delivered this morning’s sports report. He also spent some time talking with Todd and Tyler about his FWIW last night, which was about the city council and the budget problems. The gang also discussed the new medical records privacy laws, I believe they’re referred to as HIPA, and how they will affect the sports reporting world.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in today with an odd commentary about the new gay high school that recently opened up. He read over his version of what he guessed to be the school’s song and pledge. He then elaborated further and gave the song and pledge for a school devoted to fat students. Following that, he gave TnT three “I believe” phrases straight from the mind of Larry. Tune in later in the week as I’m sure we’ll get at least one more commentary out of the Cable Guy before the weekend.

Todd and Tyler spoke to actress Illeana Douglas this morning. You may recognize her as the woman that got her face bitten off by Robert Di Nero in “Cape Fear”, from an episode of “6 Feet Under”, the cancelled “Action” show with Jay Moore, and many other film credentials. She spent some time talking with the guys about the variety of rolls she has had over her career before moving on to talk about her current projects, a show for the Sundance Channel and an upcoming movie called “Dummy” which will feature her as a disgruntled wedding planner. Illeana was very cool and seemed to enjoy her time with TnT. Perhaps if the movie “Dummy” becomes more popular on the film festival circuit and in some of the bigger cities, it may make it to Omaha.

Potential speed dater Candice, 26-years-old, stopped by the studio late in today’s show and hung out with Todd and Tyler for a bit. She spent some time talking with TnT about the types of men she likes. She also shared a story about how she was dumped just a few months after giving birth to her now 8-month-old child. She seemed excited about speed dating next Monday at Brewsky’s so if you single guys are planning to attend, make sure you register for a speed date slot when you arrive.

BW returned later in the show with today’s e-news segment. The gang spent some time discussing the lawsuits the music and recording industry are sticking on music downloaders, there was talk of everyone getting to see Meg Ryan’s boobs for the first time in an upcoming movie, a report of Joey from “Friends” becoming a real life dad, and Brian wrapped up the e-news with a heartwarming story about a Canadian teacher busted for a lesbian love affair with a senior that eventually turned into some 3-some activity.
