Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by welcoming Black Tony and Child Prodigy to the studio. Child Prodigy was there to collect 50 Z-bucks from the guys for their second attempt at winning the “pick the winners” NFL pool Prodigy has set up. The first pool is down to just 11 guys already so to keep the season interesting, Prodigy set up another pool for the rest of the season. After a little betting talk, which revealed further Child Prodigy’s gambling addiction of epic proportions, the gang moved on to discuss other topics. Tyler, still easily spooked at the thought of being attacked by a cougar, told us that he spotted two deer yesterday while riding his bike around the lake. He couldn’t help but wonder if wild hyenas or another cougar might have been stalking the deer and perhaps him so he pedaled extra fast.

Also early in the show, the guys read over a piece of yesterday’s daily update in which I referenced how my spellchecker doesn’t contain the word Milaniard. They pondered the proper spelling of the word and not to my surprise, it turns out that I did indeed misspell the completely made-up, fictional word. Using the logic of deductive reasoning coupled with the countless hours of Phonics that were pounded into my head in the 3^rd grade, I phonetically spelled the word so’s alla you’z could git it instead of spelling it based upon it’s combined root words, much like young, spooky, home schooled Becca of “E-U-O-N-Y-M!!!!!!” fame. Milaniard should indeed be spelled “mulaniard” and yes, I’ve added both to my spellchecker for future use.

The guys also referenced what I had written about the recent concerns expressed by e-mailers and callers regarding TnT possibly leaving Z-92. They stated this morning that they have never said anything about leaving and that if there were hints dropped here and there about such things, that doesn’t necessarily mean anything. On that subject, they read over a couple of e-mails and fielded a few phone calls from listeners as the show moved on but as far as they were willing to say, TnT will be back on the air bright and early Monday at 5:30am. “Packages”, though, were mentioned to be dropped off in Denver and Phoenix by Todd as he travels to Arizona this weekend to see a football game and hang out with friends. Hello former prize lady Barb!

BW came in with the news a bit later in the show. The gang began by discussing the allegations about Rush being a pill popper as well as recanting any support they gave him yesterday. TnT, believers in free speech, didn’t have a problem with Rush expressing his opinion on the black quarterback subject, but they did agree that had he worded it differently and left out the racial angle, he’d have avoided getting in trouble. They moved on to discuss the paid suspension of the cop who hosts “The man’s keeping me down” show, they railed viciously on the Kansas woman that lied and told the world she was abducted, raped, and dropped off near Plattsmouth last year, and the gang had an interesting conversation about Amish people’s use of electronic signage.

Also during the news, there was some talk of the California recall election, which is scheduled to take place next Tuesday. During this time, Black Tony did what was accurately described as “the worst Arnold Schwarzenegger impersonation in the history of the world.” Tony’s impersonation actually sounded like a mix of Forest Gump and Lennox Lewis attempting to impersonate Arnold than anything else. It was so terrible that it was flat-out hilarious. TnT railed on Tony for a bit and discussed the recent allegations of Arnold being a trophy winning grab-ass player for Team Movie Star as well as his alleged support for the Nazi party and Hitler. That prompted a hate call from a creepy guy that told Jeremy that TnT should be “shot in the dick”. Jeremy got a kick out of that and after telling the guy not to swear on the air, he put the angry listener through to TnT. The caller spouted out repeatedly “I like Arney!” and later dropped “I hate Todd and Tyler! He he he he”. Yes, he actually laughed at the end of the call exactly like it’s spelled. The gang discussed being shot in the dick for a while and then moved on.

The parade of possible calendar contestants continued all morning long as hottie after hottie graced the TnT studio. Another set of twins, Amy and Sara, came in, as did hotties Jerry, Mandy, Shannon, Nicole, Bobby Jo, Shelly, and Angelina. There’s not much more to say about any of their visits with TnT other than each girl was hot and they’re all being considered. I believe the final selection will take place next week so I’m sure we’ll get filled in. There may even be some pre-Frank Remar in-studio photos of the hotties for me to publish before the calendar is created, but who knows?

Travis came in this morning with the sports report. He also selected his Lock of the Week. This time he’s chosen the Oregon Ducks minus 3 at Utah. That game, I believe, airs tonight.

Stacy Pratt phoned Todd and Tyler this morning and thanked them for their support during the last few weeks. She discussed the benefits that have been held and how she’s been keeping herself busy trying not think about the tragedy. She also discussed meeting with congressmen and the governor in hopes of getting things changed, as it relates to criminals like the guy who shot her husband being out on the streets after 140+ run-ins with the law. Stacy thanked everyone in the community for their support, which has “amazed” her. I’m sure we’ll hear from her again in the future.

Bobcat Goldwaith joined TnT in studio this morning and spent several hours hanging out with the guys. Bobcat, one of the coolest guests TnT have ever had (if not above, ranking right up there with the great Lewis Black and Jim Brewer), joined in on the topics of the day and seemed to have another great time with the guys. He discussed how he got his start in stand-up, which led to a tale about how he spent 9-months living in a Boston dorm room at a university he didn’t attend. He later detailed how he landed his first Letterman appearance, his relationship with Leno since he set the stage on fire, and he talked about co-hosting the Jimmy Kimmel show all next week. He is going to try to sneak on a piece of TnT show gear one night so keep your eyes out.

Later, Bobcat talked with TnT about his new movie “Windy City Heat, The Perry Project”. TnT both watched an advanced copy of the movie and they each described it as causing “belly laughs”. Bobcat did his best to describe the plot of the movie, which centers on a guy named Perry that thinks he’s in a real movie but in reality, he’s just being severely mind-f-bombed in the most amazing way. The movie comes out on Comedy Central on October 12^th so make sure to check it out. It sounds great. By the way, you can catch Bobcat at the Bone this weekend by calling 493-8036. BW returned later in today’s show with the e-news. There was more talk about the Terminator being a Nazi, mention of Lil Kim getting busted for having pot, talk of one of the brothers that’s directing the Matrix movies going through a sex change operation, and discussion of Courtney Love getting all doped up and burglarizing a house.
