Doc had to leave early. And they did mention it was (Lewis Black) was a replay. Cause , they said they got an e-mail from someone bitching about the replays. And they explained why they do it.

They did explain why they do it, because they wanted the people that listen to the show on the radio to hear the interviews. They specifically singled out the podcasters when they presented their explanation. So as podcasters we will have to put up with it. Either don't download it or skip through it.

My argument has been that if it is becoming really hard to fill in six hours, then simply go on delay on the west and mountain zone and do the show for four hours and present a better product.

Also, I find annoying that they try to separate themselves from another radio show, by saying we do not replay the crap from 6:30 at 8:30, but they find themselves doing it now. I guess it is OK to do so, because they do it. It is like the musical thing with Tyler: If he likes it is OK, otherwise is just gay!

They want to make sure all the stations hear as much of the show as possible. Now as far as how much of the show gets played is up to the radio stations.

None of this explains why they hide the fact they're playing replays. That's what annoys me, not the fact they play replays, but the fact they don't say it's a replay. What's the point of leaving that part out?

Also I missed the part where they actually said something about this. Obviously.

Well i think they think we can figure it out. When you see Lewis Black 1 and Lewis Black 2 one day then Lewis Black on the next days podcast you can make the deduction that it's the replay. Also, reading the podcast description explains what it is. I also don't think replaying one segment lowers the product at all it's only 20 minutes of replayed material that 1/2-2/3 of the listening area didn't get to hear on the radio. Bob and Tom tape much more segments and play them at all hours of the day. I once saw them on at 5 in the after noon, i kid you not.
