Am I the only one who misses the clip off that they had last year? I thought it was hilarious and great radio. Is the FCC to blame for not doing it again, or was it just boring and I'm not aware?

Edit: Now I'm the forums only residing 'senior member', isn't that cool.

I can't remember that. I miss references to Deakmans and Throcks, probably an FCC casualty.

I think it was more a casualty of the fact that the guys have moved the show from being less gimmicky and towards more discussion. They haven't done any bits in a long time, and for that same reason I doubt there will be any more CDs. Which really, I'm okay with. I think the show's gotten better since it became less gimmicky.

I guess you make sense, I guess we just need to ignore the Jose of the Day and everything though. The show still has its fair share of gimmicks, but you're right, much less of them. The clip off kicked ass though.

I too really enjoyed the clip off. I don't know if anyone remembers but the winning clip was by the ex news guy. He sad something about fast fowarding over the part with him on it....... uh.......never mind

I miss the clips very much. They could probably release a 2-disc set of sound bites from the show.

I was figuring as such. The FCC sure likes cracking down on anything that's consistent or contains repetition.

The clip-offs were great. It still makes me laugh whenever I hear something that could be a keeper. Stupid FCC! They should still produce more CD's. Those are awesome. Some of Donnie's old Corky bits are still hilarious. I can imagine how much work must go into those, though. And who know if they are that 'profitable' to TnT.

Didn't they say at some point that they had been deleting/cleaning up/dumping some of their earlier bits? Or was I just having a horrible nightmare?

Anyway, I second the motion for TNT to produce a CD of random, out-of-context clips...they'd be great for answering machines or our own personal 'Winslow 2000's'
