I'm new to this group. I'm not sure if new members usually post intro messages but here goes.

I'm Toad. I've been listening to T&T for 5+ years now. I used to mail T&T quite often. A couple years ago, my only claim to T&T fame was that I was the guy who coined the term 'spontaneous research' for Travis. I am not a Travis fan AT ALL. To put it politely, the man needs some serious education and maybe a few life experiences before he can throw out opinions. But then, his KMTV ratings pretty much speak for themselves.

These days, T&T refer to me as the 'Over-Analyzing Guy'.
I admit I do tend to nitpick, on occasion. I stopped e-mailing T&T a few weeks ago cause they got me a bit irked. when they were making fun of Wiccans. As a former Wiccan, I e-mailed them, in an attempt to educate them on Wicca and to correct the crap they were mindlessly spewing. They chose to turn my words around completely. And now they complain that no one has given them an explanation as to what Wiccans worship. Well. *I TRIED TO* explain but I guess they prefer to spread their spontaneous research info instead.

I just wish they'd grow some balls in certain situations. They'll bash Trav in their first hour. Then, when Trav comes in, they don't even mention the subject. Tyler will get irked at something Lee Terry does. But he won't confront him on it when Lee drops by. I'd also like to know how T&T can say movies like Lord of the Rings suck when they've never even freaking seen them!
Then, Tyler will say how he has to watch certain TV shows he hates, for fodder for the show. I don't get it.

Don't get me wrong, I love the show, but I only agree with the guys about 50% of the time. I'm with them on hating pit bulls, Republicans, and anything Husker-related. I'm totally behind them on their support for issues like gambling, gay rights, & gun control.

But I usually turn my radio down during: their 15 minute commercial breaks, Travis's sports news, a T&T sports rant, a musician guest, and if an actor from 'The Sheild' calls the show.

See? Told you I was nitpicky. But someone needs to keep those guys on their toes.

Helps avoid hypocrisy.

Todd n Tyler have a show to run. I know that sometimes I don't always agree with them - what kind of person would I be if I agreed with everything they said - STRANGE. Anyways they have to keep the show interesting and fun to listen to which means controversial at times.
As far as people like Travis are concerned, they know how Todd n Tyler feel about their issues. Travis hears them complain before he comes in. However, regardless of the disagreements they have they are friends. So how much crap can they give him without really pissing him off is a choice they make.
Omaha has such a variety of people and I am probably nothing like you, but I like the show also. So they manage to get two people from two completely different worlds to listen to the show and like it for the most part. Pretty good in my book

First of all.... I am not a kid and I don't think that Todd n Tyler kiss everyone's ass. I think that they tell us what they think. If someone gave me a new car to drive every week I would think that it is a great dealership also. I think that Hoopers Store said it correctly - it is a radio SHOW. The show also does things for charities where they don't get 'anything back'.
As far as the tickets go, where you purchase them is your choice, no one is making you buy them from an individual. You said you have bought tickets from him, so I feel that you really shouldn't complain since you support him financially. - SORRY

Well. Let's see. As I originally posted, I'm *formerly* Wiccan. Wiccan's have no need for churches. Rituals aren't held on Sunday's. Only brain-washing Christian religions hold that policy. Are you sure you're not Tyler? Cause, you seem just as uneducated as he is. But then, your spelling, grammar, and CAP typing make that apparent.

I wish T&T would realize this. When they bash Catholicism, they are only telling the truth. But for some reason, when it comes to Wicca, they throw out blatant lies as a 'joke'. the guys make fun of me about once a week. if you can't handle getting hammered by them don't correspond with or call them. as a couple of others have already said 'IT'S A SHOW'. they are going to take the show the direction they want it to go, it's their show. and from the way the ratings look i'd say they must be doing something right.
