Does anyone know the real story of Brian Huston's firing?

T&T have never talked about it. They don't even mention his name. It's as if it was part of some big government conspiracy or something.

In May 2004, Brian announced he was quitting during one of his news segments. The rest of the show dealt with this subject. As T&T talked, Brian kept getting called back into the office to discuss the issue. T&T kept getting reports as well. One even mentioned BW was crying at one point. At the end of the show, Brian came back on and announced that he was staying. He wasn't given any benefits, or even a raise. Just a title.

The show seemed to run smoothly after that.

About a month later, a regular show begins. During this, a dancer from as local strip bar called the show, asking about Brian. T&T keep ask BW who that was. Brian is evasive. T&T persist. BW finally says 'Look. We can do this two ways. I can read the news. Or we can discuss this outside' (I don't remember his exact quote).

The next day, T&T start their show with the announcement that BW no longer works there. They never gave a reason. They got calls and letters inquiring, but T&T never explained. . .which was rather tantalizing. Listeners were left to only guess.

Brian separated from his wife for a year or two before they finally got back together. I'm wondering if that dancer who called was someone he was seeing on the side, and this affair leaked it's way to public knowledge by this dancer's phone call?

Don't get me wrong. I never liked BW. I thought he was a homophobic prick with a short fuse. I know T&T were getting weary of his attitude as well. But it'd sure be nice to have some closure on this. The real reason!

We sure as hell won't get that from T&T.

Please pull the plug on this. If you people want to keep this site in good relations with TnT don't bring up old irrelevant items. Current members of the show including Todd and Tyler themselves do visit this site have positive things to say about the site and even interact. Please do the rest of us a favor and let dead dogs lie.
