It started out as 'stroke man' (Dr. Ed mentioned it, forgot what it meant), and Todd commented that it could be the name of Travis' new production company for his infomericials.

I'm almost positive that it was 'stroke man' that garnered Tyler making it a 'great band name', although Big Voice Guy didn't officially announce it.
