| TnT Marketing in out of state markets? I was just talking to a guy here at work, who like myself, is from SW Iowa and a TnT fan. Anyway, he said they guy's were talking about Des Moines sometime after 8 this morning and a couple of listeners from over here. Anyway, has Journal thought about marketing the TnT show and Big Sports 590 in general in markets like Omaha, Sioux Falls, etc. Perhaps in the form of freeway bill boards or newspaper ad's? As crappy as local morning radio is here in Des Moines, IMO, Big Sports 590 has a chance to show up in the local ratings. |

| Re:TnT Marketing in out of state markets? JB doesn't market them here in Omaha. They sure are not going to market elsewhere.

| Re:TnT Marketing in out of state markets? Neither do I,but I think they (JB) are just trying out the Midwest and seeing how that goes. Then work from there. But I could be wrong.

| Re:TnT Marketing in out of state markets? i know they have been trying to expand to other markets and even get nationally sindicated for some time now. a couple of years ago they were trying to work a deal with 95 rock in lincoln. i emailed the pd and said it would be nice to have better coverage in lincoln. i also told him it was about the only way i would ever listen to that station. 95 rock wasn't smart enough to jump on that opportunity. |

| Re:TnT Marketing in out of state markets? There are regionally syndicated radio shows out there, especially in the southeast. TnT aren't syndicated but have the next best thing, a station with a huge ass signal. This obviously was a smart move by JBG. Expand the audience and eventually the revenue. My guess is TnT are quite satisfied with there own revenue right where they are at. But money talks and with the right deal they might go national. But if they do, they would have to tweek the show to fit a national audience, basically starting from scratch. I don't know if TnT would be willing to do that. Why ruin a good thing. But you never know.

| Re:TnT Marketing in out of state markets? if you really luv the guys and the show you want what's best for them. national sindication would mean some changes of course. but it would also mean alot more $ for tnt. i don't see them forgetting those of us that help them get to bigger and better things. |

| Re:TnT Marketing in out of state markets? I agree that next to syndication, being simulcasted on BS 590 is the next best thing. The more I think about it, the more I personally, wouldn't like if the show was syndicated. As being in syndication, you lose all things local. I'm guessing that those who listen on BS 590, one way or the other, like myself, have ties to the Omaha area and at one time or another, prior to moving away were regular TnT listners. |

| Re:TnT Marketing in out of state markets? I just have to chime in.I agree that they would have to change the show a lot if syndicated, it would just be an adjustment to a new style.Wasn't that what happened when they first got here 13 yrs ago? Look how that turned out..
