No kidding Mike... Even though people say they support the 'troops' and not the 'war'. It is still demoralizing to not support what the troops are involved in. :( A shot of penicilan is required for 'Dick Durbin', to make that waste of sperm go away.... How dare he compare our troops to 'Gulags', 'Nazis' and Polpot!

That is not disagreeing with the setting government... that is putting the serving men & women, of the armed forces, under the bus!!!!

The ending months of Vietnam are being played out (once again) here, at the war of Iraq... And its all because the Democrats want POWER over America! To hell with what it will do to our troops!

Kerry did it in '69, and now Kennedy is doing it in '05... To HELL with the people on the front lines!!!! (I want my name in print!!! I look good!)... Thats all they think about!

These men & women are fighting to protect us, and all these political yay-hoos can do is offer them up for sacrificial lambs for political gain!!!!

It has nothing, I REPEAT, NOTHING to do with oil. There is more oil in one part of Canada than there is in all of the Mid-East! (watch the TLC chanel, you might learn something.) ;) Yet we haven't attacked Canada yet? There is a 30 year supply in Alaska, (at least), Yet, we haven't attacked our Congress for not voting to drill in the tundra... There is shit-loads of oil off the coast of California, but we can't get to it because enviromentilists don't want us poluting the shores of Cali. (Even though it washes up natuarlly!!)

Common people! These troops are over there to prevent the 'Bad-Guys' from coming over here to kill us!!!! This is a HOLLY WAR! That is exactly what a JIHAD is! The Talibad stated that! They wanted a 'JIHAD' And we don't want it on our soil!!!

Don't forget the Twin Towers.... More carnage than Pearl Harbor. And yet, these 'Fags' intend on taking us down!

thender - Ok you know you and I usually on different sides here, but first let me tell you something. I don't mean to offend you and I understand the value of a good disagreement. Lets just not let it get personal - OK.
I do support the troops and I have the utmost respect for ANYONE who serves in the military. The people who serve in this war are fighting some for what they believe (not all believe in the war, but they believe doing their job). As far as comparing them to Nazis or anything like that - don't judge the anti-war people because one stupid person with a loud mouth. Not everyone who doesn't believe in this war feels that way, I am offended by those comments as well.
The solders over there have a very difficult time and I could never do what they do. I would never tell them good job but I don't believe in what you did. It is not like that. I don't support the war, but I would do anything I can to show the troops how much I respect them for going over there and doing what they had to do.
The world trade center was a horrible thing but it didn't have any relation to Iraq or Saddam. It was terrorists not Iraq. Yes the war did have something to do with oil. The oil in Alaska is in the Alaskan wildlife refuge (no I am not a tree hugger- haha very funny). How many plant species and animals do we have to completely destroy before we realize that we need a complete ecosystem to survive. So yes they are working on getting oil from Alaska and Canada - they just want to make sure they fill their pockets while doing it.

M' You are very succinct and to the point. I admire that in anybody! But I still have to disagree with the oil bit... Even though I know there are a 'shit-load' of suits making money off the backs of Hard working people. That has always been the way with war. :(

You can ask any Veteran now, especialy those that are lying out in the cemeterys or have memorials dedicated to them, They hate war... And they do not support war. They don't want to be there. But they are there, and we need to do every thing to keep their morral up and to make sure that they have everything to finish the mission.

Tearing at the Commander in Chief on a daily basis doesn't help. (And I do not care who the Cheif is... If it was Kerry in charge right now, I would be saying the same thing!) But just to be demoralizing the troops for self-political-gain is an insult and an aid to the enemy....

There are alot of connections between Sadam and Osama... Osama's twips trained on Iraqi soil... Has everyone forgot the Boeing 737 fusealage training area in Iraq? The paper trail found at one of Sadams mansions? The money trail from Sadam to Osama?

On WMD's, has everyone forgot about the French Missles that were buried in the sand? The Russian migs buried in the sand? The Russin jamming devices discovered at the begining of the invasion. The bunkers full of 155mm artillery projectiles full of biological toxins. The barrels of biological toxins discovered in buried bunker?

They (Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait). They all produce hate filled terroists that abide by a book (their Bible) that preaches hate and blood-shed. All they know is that they are the chosen ones and that we are the infidales and that we need to be destroyed to make their worlds better.

I guess all I'm saying is... America hasn't survived for 200+ years by laying down and letting others walk all over us. Why start now?

Since we are on soapboxes here.I have to jump on my little on for just a sec.

When we were flying each and every mission we didn't question the orders given to us.

Why? Because we knew it was in the best interest in keeping every individual in this country alive,and keeping America the way it is.

It wouldn't have mattered who was the commander-in-chief.If the order came down,it was our job to follow it.

Again,why? Because obviously he has a helluva lot more intel on what is going on than we did.

First let me comment on how pathetic we are for debating politics on a Saturday night..

thender - I want to know your views that way I can show you where you are mistaken. :P and help you see the light..

I can support the troops and I would never tell them what they are doing is wrong. I just think that their lives are worth more than what we are fighting for, especially since they can't seem to agree on that either.

As for the money trail between Osama and Sadam - Did you know there is also a money trail between Osama and George W. Bush?

As for the Hate filled people who abide by their bibles - I didn't know that the kansas freaks traveled that far. (see even we have them).

M,there is something you need to relize.I ,obviously cannot speak for all the troops, everyone I served with in the Gulf felt and knew the lives we were saving back here were more important than our own.

Mike - I know that the lives that you and others have saved are very important and well worth it. I guess what I am saying is if we went to war to say the people what about the people that are dying all over the world. We broke the UN rules ourselves and we sit here saying 'bring it on'. Now M,if you want to talk about rules,they are breaking them each and every day.By UN rules,any 'combatant' must wear a uniform so they are clearly dressed differently than the civilians.Not a single one of the terrorists are in uniform.We are.We can't tell who's who.

As far as the Texas attitude,sue me.I just have a problem with people on our property and killing thousands of innocent lives.

There aren't too many subjects I get really worked up over,but as if you couldn't tell this is one of them.

I can support the troops and I would never tell them what they are doing is wrong. I just think that their lives are worth more than what we are fighting for, especially since they can't seem to agree on that either. As for the money trail between Osama and Sadam - Did you know there is also a money trail between Osama and George W. Bush? As for the Hate filled people who abide by their bibles - I didn't know that the kansas freaks traveled that far. (see even we have them). I am glad to know that even though we have different views you wouldn't kick Hooper or Mike out of your bed. __________________

Mike - I know that the lives that you and others have saved are very important and well worth it. I guess what I am saying is if we went to war to say the people what about the people that are dying all over the world. We broke the UN rules ourselves and we sit here saying 'bring it on'. I just don't get that Texas attitude. I know the difference with the bible thumpers here and there - I was trying (unsuccessfully) to be a smartass. __________________

As far as the Texas attitude,sue me.I just have a problem with people on our property and killing thousands of innocent lives.
