I don't stick with 'em unless they're playing a good song right after Todd and Tyler. I usually flip over and listen to some sports radio afterwards.

What kind of music do you like, amainor?

I,too flip between sports and Z afterwards.I'll try to hang with Travis until I just can't deal with him anymore.(Like when he gets Ron Brown interviews)

I listen to rock...........but I'd rather listen to the River. But I do listen to Trav and Rome. But I really can't stand any radio station in Omaha for music.

In my truck, I'll stick with the Z. But at work It's Glen Beck, then Rush, then Tom Becka. Guess what station I have to listen too for the rest of the day....

(I can't control the radio at work)..

Same here, I think Omaha radio for music just sucks and that includes the Z ......., I am so tired hearing the same shit all the time , (I hardly get a chance to listen to them now since I've changed jobs and work mainly during the day)..but when I did get a chance to listen to the Z daily it was almost like clock work that you could count on hearing Zepplin or the Crue everyday at 11am , ..... ok I'm done bitching now... I really did not mean to go on that rant......... if I do get to listen to an entire TNT show I usually flip in a Cd after they go off the air so I can avoid listening to Omaha radio

The current state of local music radio in Omaha can be described in one word.....lame! Al, I ditto everything you said. Omaha music radio sucks and has for years. I customize my own CDs or listen to talk. If I have to hear 'Every rose has its thorn' or any Ozzie again, I'm putting a bullet in my head.......twice! I have to agree with you 2ox. I remember at work, all they would listen to was KGOR. I could tell the time of day by what song was playing, ugh. I have to say I guess I am a talk radio person now.

You think YOU guys have it rough? You have no clue. Us Napalm Death and Cannibal Corpse fans are not exactly catered to...frankly, we probably shouldn't be.

Don't get me wrong, I love my classic rock. I have to have my Tom Petty, Hendrix, Sabbath, Queen, Lennon, etc. I just listen to CDs instead of radio. Much more convenient.

I have to confess, (because you all sound like caring individuals here). When I came back from the Army in '93 I listened to, (Man I'm ashamed to admit this). I listened to 'Rocket in the Morning' on 'Sweet 98'....

But I did get to hear TnT's dismissal of Rocket, and see him go down in flames!

So maybe it all equals out, I guess...

I listen to Z-92 whenever I can, I like their mix of new and classic rock. I catch the TnT show every morning for a while and the 3rd shift replay sometimes.. at work Im stuck listening to 'MUZAK'

You know i agree with you guys and girls (girl?) the Z does play the same old crap over and over but occasionally they play a good song so usually i turn it off after TnT or the 3rd shift
