Does anyone recall any bit, subject, or theme that T-n-T have done that you thought was overdone or beat to death?

One I recall was a few years ago when they played the entire tape of Ray Charles counting the lottery numbers. Now, I love Ray Charles and I loved the occasional number clips they'd play from that. But that day the whole tape was played was annoying. They had a flood of calls complaining as well.

On the other hand, there are a lot of bits that are great, but they stop doing them almost as soon as they start them.

I remember a couple of years ago when they had Jessica Dol do an audio clip saying 'I would lick that'. That sounded so hot, and it worked great, especially when the subject matter or news story they were talking about involved a chic. But they ended that sound clip after only 2 weeks. . .for some unknown reason.

Can anyone think of any bits that you thought were either over-done or under-done?

I liked when they played the clip of Dr. Phil saying 'Let's get some hookers and some coke' but they didn't use it for very long.

Oh yea I loved the YES I DID...NO YOU DIDN'T clip they played it was freaking hilarious... it was with the actress from the John Beasley play, she was in in studio and she was the one that would say YES I DIDDD as TNT would say NO YOU DIDn'T...I loved hearing that

They are starting to play that again quite a lot lately. To me, that never gets old.

It was her and another actress from John's theater group.
When they were there, T&T said they were hot women. I hoped T&T would remember them and consider them as possibilities for possible calendar girls.

I have another thing that I think is getting old. And it's not really a bit. But it's the fact that T&T swear a lot in real life, as much as the rest of us. On the show, they naturally have to watch their language (thanks to Bush). But Tyler will use these really childish words that only pre-schoolers would say like 'Bozo' and 'Do-do'. I've heard Tyler refer to real assholes and serial murders as 'Bozo's'. That's like calling Hitler a 'clown'. Tyler also says 'deep do-do'. I mean, can't he use a slightly more adult word like 'crap'? Granted, he usually does. But 'do-do' and 'Bozo' have got to go.

Also, on the show, they can say the word 'asshole'. A week or so ago, in the same segment, Tyler said 'a-hole' and Todd said 'asshole' in the same conversation. Is Tyler is being over-cautious?

Toad,I think you are overanalyzing it a bit.None of us are in their shoes,there are words they can say before 6 a.m. but not after.He is just trying to watch his ass. B)

It wasn't due to President Bush that they had to stop swearing. It started with George Carlin and the Seven Dirty Words and the Supreme court case from several years, if not decades, ago. The FCC has always banned these seven or so words but enforcement, in the last few years, was lax. Janet Jackson put it over the edge and then the walls caved in on the issue. It is all about time, place, and manner of the speech. Anyway, those are the rules you live by and these guys, along with Stern, make their living pushing the envelope of those limitations because people like that kind of rebellious behavoir now and then.

I do get a little tired with the Husker bashing. Yeah, we have some fanatics out there but day after day does get a little old for me.

I also get a little tired of bashing everything outside of Omaha as hickville. Some of that may be true but not all of it.

I realize it is just a show, but the tag line for this thread is overdone bits...that bit I think is overdone. Trust me, I do laugh at some of it because I know those guys...hell,I am one of those guys, but I know the difference between fan and fanatic. Anyway, I think that they drag it on sometimes.
