Todd and Tyler started off their show by discussing how the TnT show karma may have played a part in the performance of pro golfer Charles Raulerson. According to reports, hes tied for second place in the Omaha Classic golf tournament taking place this week. From there, the guys moved into a discussion of a few things from the news, extended further by BW when he came in with his report. Also early in the show, TnT were joined by their buddy Black Tony.

Following news, well they actually began slightly before and picked up where they left off once slow typer BW joined them, TnT brought up a list from TV Guide that rated the top 50 cartoon characters of all time. They began at 50 and worked their way backwards, talking about each cartoon character as they went along. They only made it to 20 due to time constraints and said that they would put off the last 20 on the list until they return from vacation in a week. Donnie said that he stayed up until 1am last night piecing together various audio clips and theme songs from the cartoons, which TnT played as each cartoon character was covered, and he seemed bummed out about the fact that he could have gotten the sound effects ready while TnT were on vacation instead of staying up so late last night thinking that TnT needed all the clips and songs for this mornings show. Make sure to rejoin the guys on August 12th when they get back from vacation for the conclusion of the list.

Former Husker Matt Davison joined Todd and Tyler in studio this morning for several hours. TnT ran into him at the Loverboy concert at the Anchor Inn on Tuesday night and invited him up today. When he arrived, TnT spent some time talking about his days as a Husker, including lots of talk about the famous illegal kick and the poor passing abilities of the QBs he played with while a Husker. He also discussed being drafted by the Bills and losing his desire to play football when he was no longer playing in front of hometown fans.

Todd and Tyler then talked to Matt about the big #3 jersey controversy, something they thought was stupid right from the start. The Huskers had two #3s on the team, one offence and the other on defense, and they thought that was rather stupid. They thought that Davison, as the upper classman, should have been able to keep his number and the coaches in Lincoln should have made Key Hole switch. Matt also talked with TnT about his friendship with Eric Crouch. That prompted the guys to play several clips from their show including Christmas at the Crouchs. Later, Matt said that he would try to talk Crouch into talking to TnT, which the guys liked the idea of.

Travis came in with a sports report. During his portion of the show, he talked with TnT about yesterdays Buy.com golf tournament as well as covering a little Husker history with the guys and their guest Matt Davison.

Towards the end of the show, TnT got a surprise phone call from their comedian friend Lewis Black. Hes coming back to town in August to appear at the Funny Bone and thought hed check in to make sure TnT were going to be there, as he had previously heard they may be on vacation. TnT told Lewis that Colleen switched around his dates to make sure his visit to Omaha didnt occur when they would be out of town. From there, Lewis talked with TnT about a recent trip to Ireland and all of the drinking that those people do over there. He then discussed how he will be appearing at the Emmys this year as part of The Daily Show cast from Comedy Central. Before concluding his call, the guys mentioned where they are going on vacation. That prompted Lewis to go into a lengthy rant about how much he dislikes the state of Alaska, where Todds visiting next week. Keep in mind that Lewis Black will be at the Funny Bone the week TnT return from vacation.

Well, the guys had to leave slightly before 9am this morning so Tyler could catch a flight. So the last hour of todays show was made up of two interviews, one with Grizzly Adams and the other with Andrew Dice Clay.

Todd and Tyler will be on vacation next week so well be enjoying the Best Of until their return on Monday, August 12th. Make sure you rejoin the guys when they get back from their trips, as Im sure theyll have lots to talk about. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby-
