Well. Okay. I don't have 10 of them. But these were all I could think of at the moment. Hopefully some of your can think of more. Because Hypocrisy is Trav's middle name.

* Travis a conservative Republican that attends Dave Matthews concerts.

* Travis is against big government. Yet he is a pro-lifer, and supports random police traffic searches.

* Travis voted for George W. Bush, a man who is censoring the same broadcasting media that Trav works in.

* Travis got himself a tattoo, but he thinks circumcision is mutilation.

* Travis is a Catholic against things like divorce, but he once did a radio spot for a divorce attorney firm.

* Travis is against marijuana because it's illegal. But he's also against abortion, which *IS* legal.

I will debate these, but I won't completely disagree with your statement...

(that's just really dumb/ignorant, probably not hypocritical, I think he refers to himself as a moderate)

(contradictory yes, but maybe he just likes to piss off both political sides)

* Travis voted for George W. Bush, a man who is censoring the same broadcasting media that Trav works in.
(I supposed you gotta take the good with the bad, whatever those might be. I don't think I've ever heard Trav say he was 'against' censoring)

* Travis got himself a tattoo, but he thinks circumcision is mutilation.
(the legal age for piercing is lower than getting tatoos, maybe he can use that as part of his argument (?))

* Travis is against marijuana because it's illegal. But he's also against abortion, which *IS* legal.
(Not in 'The Lord's' view!)

True, but Trav disagrees with everything Dave Mathews' fans stand for.

I'm not sure if you're being facetious from Trav's point of view or not, but the 'lord' does abortions also, in the form of miscarriages. I'm stopping there, cause I don't want to start an abortion debate. This topic is Trav's hypocrisy.

I started this thread with just what was on the top of my head at the time. Six were all I could think of at that moment. I was hoping the members of this group could think of more to make 10, or more. But I did think of a couple more actually:

* Travis is against cloning, but he doesn't seem to have a problem with his own 'God' not preventing identical twins from being born.

* In 2003, Trav did a commentary, saying how much the national Terror Alert color code system was flawed and isn't very accurate. Later that same year, Trav did a commentary saying that the color code system was a good system and that it just had to get the bugs worked out on it. Which is it, Trav?

Yes. I do as well. BIG TIME. He proves it whenever he ones his mouth. I loved it when he was all gung ho a few months ago when they found an artillery shell in Iraq and Trav was all excited that the weapons of mass destruction were 'found' after all.

Spontaneous Research - You are entitled to feel the way you do. All quotes are from Spontaneous Research.
1. I am entitled to listen to any type of music despite my political views. I also watch movies that have republican actors/advocates in them.
2. In politics, moderates often seek conciliation between the views of various political parties, and often take positions partially derived from opposite views.
Travis is not alone in voting for Bush. Actually many people made the choice, many people in broadcasting. I don't know how he feels currently about it, but again that is a PERSONAL choice.
4. Tattoos can be reversed! Circumcisions are not!
5. Doing your job - regardless of your personal views is something that people do everyday. Do you think that the soldiers in Iraq believe in everything that they are required to do? Travis is just like every other person - he isn't above the rules - his boss tells him to do something and he does it.
6. That is personal CHOICE! I personally think that if someone wants to smoke marijuana that is their choice, but I am against the religious nuts from Topeka who legally protest at funerals of gay people!
7. There is a difference between twins occurring naturally in the womb and man manipulating clones. Please tell me you see the difference.
8. TnT hated the site, we made changes now they like it. Hmmm - things can change and people become more informed and sometimes change their views.
9. Personal attacks are lame.
10. You don't have to like him, you don't have to like me either. I do like Travis

Just like everyone else he is on a show. You as a listener may never know who he really is. Somethings are more for entertainment.

Way to go, MMM. I would also like to say that I do think Trav is hard to like, but I do. He's like the villian you love to hate. If everybody was exactly the same and had the exact same opinions on issues the world would be a very boring place.

OK,my 2 cents.First off,M,I hate to debate you,but,in one way or another,each and every soldier over there has to believe in what him/her is doing.If they don't,you get hesitation which leads to more dead Americans.
Second,on Trav.I think the boys have changed some of his views over the past year.Not saying he's perfect,but neither am I.But he's ok in my book.

This is the very reason I don't post on this forum often anymore. Whenever a topic is submitted, it drifts off so quickly into a totally different direction. I started this thread for folks to throw out Travis inconsistencies (which are VAST). And now we're off on some boring political viewpoint rant between members.

Another reason I hadn't posted in a while is because this web site is so limited. I started a TnT group on Yahoo last year and only got 3 members. I guess no one ever thought of doing a search for TnT on the largest e-group community in the world before. But on Yahoo, a group can post pics, send applications, have a chat room, post links, download files, and have the same discussions anyone can on this group. Plus, all the posts are actually MAILED to the members. You don't have to go to the web site to click on each and every little one, like this site.

Yes. I'm drifting off-topic. But hey. Parr for the course for this web site, eh?

Maybe we've gone off topic because we're all well aware of Trav's hypocrisy and contradictions? Never factored in that? Hell, now days I think Trav is simply a character. He can't be another Todd and Tyler clone, he has to be different for show purposes.
