Due to the current proposed purchase of Channel 3 by Journal Broadcast- Channel 7 is not allowing their employees to associate with Todd and Tyler.
Friday Craig will not be in, so they called Trisha Meuret a regular fill in for Craig. Channel 7 isn't allowing her to go up there and read the news. Sorry Trisha - you will be missed.
Todd and Tyler made a good point: Letterman has people from ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and HBO that are on his show, not just from one network.

Trish was an excellent addition to the morning show when her presence was needed. She will be sorely missed.

Trisha - all of us here still love ya and hope that some day you can return to the show.

Before she started subtituting for (former show member) I barely knew who she was. Thanks to the show she became much more popular. She gets more pub for her appearances on TNT than anything else. Just a dumb decision.

I fired off an email to KETV about Trisha and this is what was sent back to me:

Thank you for your kind comments about Trisha Meuret. I agree she is a top notch reporter. Last May, Journal Broadcasting broke off a long term relationship with KETV and started a partnership with KMTV. At the time, a variety of reasons were given, but it appears that this action was taken in anticipation of Journal's purchase of KMTV.

KETV has forged a new partnership with a different radio group----the NRG.Waitt stations. In the future, you will be able to hear KETV reporters and meteorologists on such fine stations at Q98, Lite 101.9, BOB, KKAR, 1620--the Zone and 107.7. We are very excited about this new radio partnership.

Thanks, again for your comments. The best place to hear and see Trisha is on KETV, NewsWatch 7.

Who even watches or even knows anyone on Channel 7 news? The only person I can name is Trisha and that's because she was on TnT. Also, Sarah Simmons rocked this morning. B)
