| TnT show 9/15/05 I love the new intro for Craig: 'The prince of dumpster love'.. I laugh everytime I hear it. They talked about the dog that starting nursing a squirrel. More talk about the 3 dead chimps in Norfolk. There were actually 4 chimps - 3 were shot. Reuben, Jimmy Joe,and Tyler - only Riley who was on an episode of Seinfeld. There were 6 visitors at the zoo. They talked about Wyoming with Clete. Larry the Cable Guy called in - very funny.. Post edited by: mmm, at: 2005/09/15 08:35

| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | Re:TnT show 9/15/05 Slightly off topic, from 2 YEARS AGO: --- Monday 9-15-03 --- Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning with a little concert talk. Grand Funk performed over the weekend as the first show in the new arena and judging from a photo in the paper, TnT concluded that most of the Hispanic workers that helped build the structure attended the show. A bit more talk about the ticket prices of the Kiss/Aerosmith concert followed. The guys then moved on to talk about the announcement of the Simon and Garfunkel tour and how it wont come within 300 miles of Omaha. A bit later, TnTs operations manager Tom stopped in with a review of the ABBA tribute band he checked out at one of the casinos over the weekend. Following the concert talk, TnT spent some time talking about their weekends. Both of the guys went to see the Huskers play Penn State in Lincoln on Saturday and with little exception everyone they ran into was quite cool even though they were wearing Penn State blue. One guy did drop the hippy card on Tyler as another referred to Todds haircut as a mullet. Todd disputed the mullet comment stating simply that hes a long hair that happened to be wearing a hat. Tyler also went to see the Steelers play in Kansas City over the weekend. The Chief fans he was sitting near were all cool but he one guy in the parking lot was giving him the hairy eyeball as they left and another guy elbowed Tyler while in the bathroom. Their stories sparked a lengthy discussion about the bad reputation Chief fans get for being rude to the apposing teams fans. BW came in a bit later and joined in on the early morning topics. He talked about his Saturday evening, which had him placed at a certain local fun center people go to with their families. He commented on one Husker fan that had a handheld TV with him and joked about seeing the kids of another man trying desperately to drag their father away from a Galaga machine. Actor/Comedian Kevin Pollak phoned Todd and Tyler this morning from a Virginia airport. Hes headed to Omaha to perform this weekend and will be joining Todd and Tyler in studio on Friday morning. He talked with the guys about some of his new projects, which include 3 movies due out within the next year. One of those films is the sequel to The Whole 9 Yards so the gang spent some time talking about Amanda Peets breasts with Kevin. After speaking with Kevin Pollak, Brian delivered this mornings news report. The gang spent some time discussing a variety of stories including how the body of that missing truck driver has been found, some Elkhorn rock throwers, the lotterys anniversary, the murder of the Williams sisters step-sister, military sex offenders, the big hurricane thats going to destroy the east coast this week, and Londoners abusing magician David Blain as he hangs from his glass box above their town. Roz also called in during the news and informed TnT that the bike giveaway she worked on all summer took place on Saturday at the Anchor Inn after her poker run. A police officer won the bike. Travis came in a bit later and talked with the guys about his FWIW on Friday night. Travis gave support to the police officer that was recently shot and referred to the guy who did it as scum and a thug. He received some hate calls and e-mails, some quite threatening, from viewers that were mad at him for railing on the guy that shot the cop. Some demanded Travis show respect for the deceased criminal. Travis didnt back down, though, continuing to support the police department and explaining how and why he felt the justice system failed. After all, the bad guy in this story had 40-some arrests and 7 felonies on him. A bit later, Travis gave his sports report and spent some time talking with the gang about the weekend of football. Just for the record, Travs Lock of the Week didnt come in, which now makes him 2-1. Larry the Cable Guy checked in today and talked a little Husker football with TnT. He later gave a commentary on the Ben and J Lo wedding, a story Larry along with Todd, Tyler, and Brian are all sick of already. Well here more from Larry as the week moves on so stay tuned. Jimmy, the host of 1490AMs Wednesday night program Cornhusker Insider stopped in today and hung out with the gang for a bit. TnT gave him a hard time for not being able to get his co-host Tommy Frazier to come up to their studio, something that theyve given Trav a hard time about lately as well. During Jimmys visit, TnT talked some college football and Huskers with him and they also took a call from former Husker Rob Zatechka who gave his thoughts on the Husker nation. Tune in to Jimmys Wednesday night radio show on the Huskers on 1490AM at 6pm or stop by the AmeriSports bar and see the live broadcast weekly. A bit later in the show, as the football talk continued, TnT brought in Lester. Evidentially, Lester is both a Vikings and a Packer fan because he grew up in between the two cities. Todd, a diehard Vikings fan and Packer hater, angrily argued with Lester about his allegiance and stated that because of the longstanding rivalry between the two teams, Lester cant like them both. Tyler seemed to agree but didnt argue the point nearly as much as the pissed off Todd. Later, though, Tyler did get some spark in him as an e-mailer claimed to like both the Steelers and the Browns, another long-lived rivalry. As the scolding of Lester continued, TnTs big boss Steve joined in on the discussion. He, a Packers fan, agreed with Todd that Lester just cant like both the Vikings and the Steelers. BW returned later with todays e-news segment. During the e-news the gang discussed Johnny Cashs burial today, rumors saying that Ben and J. Lo are breaking up, Letterman announcing that hes going to be a daddy for the first time at the age of 56, and how the Queer Eye guys are only making $3000 per episode for the next 6 years because theyre locked into a crappy contract. The gang then took a little break from the e-news and brought in Jessica Dol for a little For Him Magazine talk. TnT read parts of an article from the mag that basically told men how women like to be approached when first meeting someone. As they read through the stories of things to do and not to do, Jessica weighed in and gave TnT her thoughts. Everyone also shared stories of things that have worked for them in the past and those that didnt. They also batted around some funny ideas of things guys can do to get a womans attention at a bar, which included the hilarious concept of sending over a basket of cheese sticks to a lady and when she looks to see who sent them to her, you hold up your very own cheese stick and give a knowing Yep, from me nod. Towards the end of the show, Todd and Tyler took a call from a lady named Stacy. Shes the wife of the officer, Jason, that was recently shot (the focus of Travs FWIW commentary on Friday night). She phoned in to thank Travis for his supportive commentary and thanked Todd and Tyler as well for their support of her injured husband. Many of you may recall that the officer who is currently in the hospital once came up to the studio and hung out with TnT for a bit, detailing his job as homo park bait in many of the sexual activity crackdowns that have gone on in various parks around town. TnT once again wished her and her husband well, hoping for the best in this sad situation. Good luck to you Jason and Stacy. Todd and Tyler are headed out to Brewskys tonight for another Monday Night Football party. Theyll be joined by speed dater Lisa so make sure to get there early to sign up for your chance to give her your best 5 minutes. All of the other MNF party fun will continue this week again so dont miss it. The party begins at 7pm. That does it for the Monday update. Join TnT at Brewskys tonight for the MNF party, tune in tonight at 10pm for the 3rd Shift Replay of this mornings show, and make sure to rejoin the guys tomorrow morning at 5:30am for the Tuesday edition of the Todd and Tyler show. Theyll be joined by the lawyers from Cohen, Vacanti, Higgins, and Shattuck so it should be a lot of fun. Thanks for watching. Good night. Post edited by: Dave, at: 2005/09/15 08:47

I was a in and out of the truck so missed some of it, but is he (Larry) in Beatrice filming a movie? Great show as usual. The prince of Dumpster Love ROCKS! Even if he did let Jeremy kiss him.
