Well the political conversations began this morning. What did you all think of what Dave Nabidy had to say. If your like me you had only heard his name in passing and really wasnt too familiar. I figured it was worth talking about since he almost got Tyler to go to the darkside.

One of my thoughts was how he felt he couldnt run as a dem, only citing the most extreme liberal examples as reasons why he couldnt, then saying he couldnt do it because it wouldnt be him....then asked all the dems of the state to go republican for the primary? That contradition doesnt make sence, but if he cant identify with dems, how can we identify enough to vote for him. I thought he made some great points and was really interesting, but he pretty much made it so I cant vote for him. Thats the problem when non politicans run...they forget to be political.

Mixed feelings on it. I would rather he no fix Omaha, Council Bluffs is booming since Omaha people started putting morons in office.

This will be no contest. Our next governor is Tom Osborne. At our town parade this both Nabity and Osborne went through. They didn't exactly stand and clap wildly for Nabity.

Yea and people from this area make fun of people from Kentucky, least they don't think just cause someone can run plays on a football field that they can lead a state. I hope Osborn just destroys the state, it would make my day, lol.

Dave Nabity sucks.

I work in the same building as his business. Him and his employees are a big pain in the ass. (And not one of those "good" pains) They have been trying to get the entire premises non-smoking because their conference room faces our designated smoking area. So, instead of just closing the blinds when they are using it, they would rather take away a place for me to slowly kill myself with cancer sticks.

As of right now, yes, I don't like him for that reason. I don't know his political views, his personality or his work ethic. Yes, it is a petty and minuscule reason to dislike someone but that's all I got. Plus, I was trying to be a little funny and I really love to smoke!
