I was listening the day they went from elevator music (kEZo) to the "Home of Rock-n-Roll" almost 26 years ago.....god I'm old!

well about 7-8 years ago i listened everyday till 8, (had to go to school)....then i went to college and listened for a couple years till they lost the streaming audio online. so basically just during the summer and whenever i was near omaha. since then, back doing everyday, except now at work i can listen right up till they sign off. its much different to be able to hear them go through the old show. back when i used to just listen from 7-8 or whatever you really didnt know what was going on

I can remember listening to full Floyd albums on Sweet 98 way way back in the day.

As for being a listener, they had me at hello....I've been listening since the beginning.

On and off for the past 15 years, I remember when KEZO was simulcast on the AM....I was thinking about that the other day....does anyone remember the AM frequency. I know it was way at the top.

Yeah, I remember sitting behind the Saddlecreek B&G on lunch break from the yard smoking a J and listening to KQ98 on a transistor radio. There for awhile Omaha had 2 very good rock stations. Ultimately the Z won out and KQ98 went wussie.

Does anybody remember the Z92 Boat Races at Carter Lake?

if memory serves I found 'em on another station in omaha...yes they were somewhere else before the "Z"..does anyone know? (it was for a very short period of time)

I remember I went to some "thing" they had there was prolly 17 people there it was like a tail-gate party...not like that anymore

I also remember they used to play music.
I have wondered if they went into this wanting to be all talk or what happend to change things. (maybe it just unfolded into all talk)

They've never been on another station. They were playing Comfortably Numb one time and it brought the show down so much they went to all talk. Don't know if it was immediate or shortly after.
