If todd n tyler went XM or sindicated or something similiar, what would happen? Would they move out of omaha? Would they catch on all over the country as they have here? Would the show be the same? Would Craigs Mom's Lover get his own sitcom that would air after the George Lopez show?

They would obtain the success that they deserve. I hope they go global someday.

I would presume they would move out of Omaha.

It may be similar. The problem with national syndication is that they would have to eliminate a lot their local ties in order to appeal to a national audience. A listener in New York would not understand them bashing on people like Jon "assbag" Brunning or Pete Ricketts. If they were to stay on Z-92 that would present problems on the local level because they would need to run local stories and sponsors during a 4-5 min national break. And that would leave them with a live mic for virtually 5 straight hours a day. That would take a lot of work cram all that into such a short time frame leaving little time to run local commercials. The problem I see with satellite radio is that XM and Sirius each already have "big gun" topical radio shows. I cannot see either one of them wanting to create a competiton to their own programming.

exactly everything you said basically is why it probably wont happen. ive even noticed a difference with them being on 590. anytime your audience grows you have to adapt...luckily they havnt stopped talking about omaha, but rather trying to just explain some things to the audience.

having said that, it doesnt mean the guys wont move to a bigger market. but it seems like they are happy, and enjoy their disposition.

morning shows the caliber of TnT tend to do better regionally and fail nationally. When they leave the TnT show for good they will probably leave morning radio at the same time. Todd to his cabin in the mountains and Tyler will probably write a book.

IN my opinion, they would not do well at all. They would not be able to compete with Opie and Anthony on XM or Howard Stern on the other.

o&A may talk a lot about NYC, but they have a lot of other things to go with. T nT's show only deals 1. Their hatred of Husker fans, 2. Tom o. being the next governor, 3. How mauch they hate Pres. bush. 4. Sports.

Now I do not hate TnT. I just find that the show is more of a downer than anything lately. I find myself turning back to XM more often now.

So go ahead........start bashing on me because I have a different view of TnT.

Lost - No one will bash on you. But please realize that this is a FAN site. We are here because we like the show - we don't agree with everything they say but we understand the show and we like it..

Some reason I have a feeling Lost 1 is a huskers fan?? Im a Huskers fan and am used to getting bashed on by friends so hearing it from TnT is no big deal. If you dont agree with everything they say...its still nice to hear a different view of the topic than what you think.

Thats why I listen ....and they are hilarious.

Not a husker fan, just bored with hearing about the huskers every morning.

Also just saying that would not make it outside of this market. Not a bad thing, really. Besides, after being together on air for almost 14 years, wouldn't they be syndicated if they could (or wanted to)?

I was a huge fan of TnT, MMM. I was just saying that the show seems to be a bitch-fest lately. Now I try to catch Doc Ed on Wed's and then maybe the third shift if the comics are decent on Fridays.

About the bash comment, I have noticed that anytime someone might say something bad about them, the regulars start the bashing. Could be why no one other than the 8 or 9 regulars post here.

thats about all the bashing you'll get here lost1. See the folks here can tell that your posts are well intentioned and not hate-filled like some we get. The ones that come on here and spew hate are the ones that get trashed, exhiled and crapped on.

Plain and simple, this is a fan site not an OP/ED. Although your opinions are very welcome as long as they are thought provoking and reasonably intelligent. And yours pass the benchmark by far more than a mile.

Little known secret: Ill go weeks without listening to the show and for various reasons. Usually its when they are doing nothing but bitching and complaining. But then I'll tune back in and catch a great dick joke or Dr Ed segment and all is well. Its just the nature of the beast and the haters just don't get it.

I am sorry if you feel that you are not allowed to speak what you want to here. This site is a fan site, we don't want it to become a hate- bashing site like the 590 site - if it was it wouldn't work. We use this site to talk about the show - good or bad things - I am not a sports fan so I don't like to listen to Travis talk about sports.
