This was a long time coming but I finally decided to say my official goodbye. I have been a T-n-T listener for about 8 years now but the last couple of years have slowly been less and less funny to me and more and more political. I now feel as if I'm listening to two guys auditioning for a slot on Air America radio. I can no longer take the constant bashing of the right and the Republicans.

I always listened to T-n-T because they made me laugh my ass off...they talked about pop culture, local culture, sex, husker fans (which is the one area I am truly on their side) and anything relevant to society that didn't involve politics. But in the last few years it has become an anti-Bush, pro-anything left agenda driven show. I loved it when it made me laugh now I pity them because all they can come up with are rips on Bush or any other politician that does not agree with them. I want to be humored when I listen to T-n-T, not talked down to all the time.

So it is with sadness and joy that I bid a farewell to 2 of the previously funniest gents that I had come across on the radio. I have been listening to Howard Stern since he went on the air and it is the laugh my ass off hilarity that has been missing in my mornings (he also rips on the right wingers, but it isn't the main theme of his show), and that's a refreshing start to the day.

Thanks for all the past laughter T-n-T, I wish you all and your fans nothing but the best.

Oh well. I love the Huskers and 40% of Todd and Tyler is bashing the Huskers and it doesn't bother me whatsoever, because it's football. Just like politics is politics. But hey, at least you wished me well. ;-)

If you feel the need to blame somebody blame Miss Janet "Ugly Tit" Jackson and the FCC. Shit runs down hill and the homogenization of the show is a direct result of that shit from up above falling into TnTs glove.

Are they doing the best with what they got?.....yes. They still make me laugh albeit not consistantly as before the "wardrobe malfunction".

Thanks for the post OI.....sorry to see you go. I understand loyalty isnt what it used to be.

As a listener of TNT for over 10 years, I feel they could drop some of the politics from the show. We all know Bush sucks and the country is in sad shape. I get a little tired of the "I didn't vote for him" stuff too. I am NOT a Bush supporter who got his feelings hurt, just don't find the state of our country very funny. By the way, I don't think Kerrey would have been any better then Bush, although the price of Ketchup may have come down some. We might even have cars that would run on ketchup by now if Kerrey was in.

Now, I find that 90% of the show that I hear each day is better than anything else on the "free" radio in my pickup truck (yes, Tyler, pickup truck). Howard Stern on "E" was kinda funny because of the visual, but still mostly naked chics parading around or getting spanked or bologna thrown at their asses. Plus, I am too cheap to pay for radio.

So, I challenge anyone to find something as funny as TNT on the Omaha radio list. And not a station that plays 3 Pink Floyd songs every morning.

And who doesn't feel the connection to every celebrity/comedian they have in the studio. Here's to another 10 years of TNT!

Ok .. You all know that I love the TnT show, no not every part because guess what - you can't please everyone all of the time. I could care less about most of the sport stories but I have listened to Stern and I still choose TnT . ..

I guess my question is why post here to say goodbye.. We are fans of the the show that is why we post here, it just doesn't make sense.

Alinthe morning - Guess what?? I voted for Kerry!! (not to totally change the subject- but we went to war with the wrong country for the wrong reasons - wouldn't have happened if Kerry was in office).

So you talked to Kerrey and he told you that....do you run his web page too? We were already in Iraq during the elections and I......hell, I didn't care about either of them. 1 small boat with a hole in it, 1 Presidential candidates, punchline ------- A good start!

I really don't want to argue politics here with anyone, but I also get tired of the jokes on the show. Don't get me wrong, I don't change the channel when they do it. I just do that fake sympothy laugh that Tyler gave Larry on that one joke last week.

And don't ask me who would be a good president or whatever. Don't care.

Um so yeah I don't agree with all that they say. To solve this, I often times switch to the podcasts I listen to in order to um, release some tension. It helps me to miss the great broadcasting enough that when I go back it's like Wheeeeeeeeee!

I do have to point out I don't go to other stations but indy radio. I think that keeps in the whole spirit of TnT. That's just me though. Knowing the other shows out there, TnT have me for life.

I only grew up in Onawa, I am now an Omaha resident. But what you say about Onawa is 100% true, except of course for my mother. As for why I posted here, didn't think I'd get as much reaction if I would have posted on the Travis Justice Blog. Actually T-n-T have so completely frustrated me lately that I just had to get it out. Sorry if I upset anyone, I knew I'd get the normal T-n-T koolaid drinking moronic replys but hey my skin is thick enough that it only hurt a little. Huskers Suck...Hillary in 2008 (hehe)...Cheers to the calendar girls.
