I like the new Action 3 news, although how many times can one person say "action 3 news". They have a new look to their website also, but the website is very and the links they have are short and miss the story. They don't keep stories on the site for more than one day. I find myself looking at the other news station websites for the stories during the day. If I hadn't watched there news station and just looked at their website, I wouldn't watch their news.

I hope that "action 3 news" chant they do over there will subside within a month or two (do you recall "the NEW Big Sports 590" being repeated every 13 seconds on BS 590 at the beginning?

I have minor quibbles with the Action 3 News broadcasts and I agree that their website needs some work, but I think Trav said recently that they're all just getting used to it...Maybe they need more space to keep more than just the day's news stories?

Anyway, at least it's a change from that snorefest on WOWT

Has anyone seen some of the things Matt Schick does on KETV? They are hilarious! He did one about all the kids who couldn't go to the Creighton bracketbuster game because it was too late. He just did one last night on Nick Bahe:

I wish I could still watch the omaha stations so much better than Sioux City, but with the dish that is all I can get

Although it was a humorous segment with Bahe, I must admit that it just screamed of campy news reporting.

If I want campy news, I'll read the Daily Nebraskan (student newspaper from UNL)--please give me some thought-provoking/actual news at night (which is something I think ALL stations should strive to do more)

But maybe that's just me...

I have to agree with you Donnie.. Action 3 is much better. They at least do their own thing. Mary Nelson on Action 3 does a great job.

I think they all suck equally as well, the Bahe segment is what this news industry needs!
