Re: Aerosmith

One of my sisters had a ticket to see them at the Qwest. She was bummed to hear that they canceled.

Re: Aerosmith

Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler will undergo surgery this week for an undisclosed medical condition, forcing the band to cancel the remaining dates of their North American tour. The band's publicist, Marcee Rondan, said Tuesday that Tyler was "doing fine" but declined to elaborate on his condition.
"Despite Aerosmith's desire to keep the tour going as long as possible, Tyler's doctors advised him not to continue performing to give his voice time to recover," Rondan said in a statement.
Tyler, who turns 58 on Sunday, can't perform "for an extended period of time," Rondan said, adding the band was "on hiatus."
Aerosmith canceled recent concerts in Manchester, N.H., Pensacola, Fla., and Lexington, Ky., because of illness, though the tour press director did not disclose who was sick or the nature of the illness.

Re: Aerosmith

Just contact TicketMaster they should help you out.

When they toured with Kiss I bought tickets to see them in KC, before they announced a stop at the Qwest. Well, it just so happened I think there were blackouts on the east coast so the date for the KC show got moved by a day. So I got a refund from TicketMaster for the KC show even though the tickets still would have been good. Then I bought tickets for the Omaha show, worked out to my advantage!

Re: Aerosmith

Isn't this the second time this has happened to Omaha? I'm pretty sure last time it was his leg or some crap like that.

Re: Aerosmith

just an FYI, if anyone likes Montley Crue(or for those of you already going) they have offered a discounted ticket to go see them in Lincoln if you return your ticket through ticketmaster or wherever it is you bought it from

Re: Aerosmith

Back in the late 1980's Younkers used to have a ticket office that I worked at. One night I happen to be working and I hear on the radio that Ozzy Osborne had cancelled his show. The entire night sucked because I was rushed by what seemed like a thousand people to get refunds. I ran out of money in the cash register and had to leave the ticket "booth" to get some more from Customer Service. Everyone was really pissed and I was working there all alone!

Re: Aerosmith

Wow, that must've sucked. But at least it was 20 years ago so you don't have it 'fresh' in your mind.
