| Re: TnT Show 3-30-06 They hammered a couple of people from the "Barely A Pulse".One about global warming, the other on secondhand smoke. They also recalled a trip about 10 years ago they took to Cancun, where Todd was trippin' on acid. Also moral of today's show- "If anal sex is wrong,I don't want to be right."- Tyler

| Re: TnT Show 3-30-06 They took calls from pit bull owners who think the owner of the dog should serve jail time if the dog attacks and kills someone. I think they got two calls.

| Re: TnT Show 3-30-06 Greg Mortenson wrote the book - Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Mission to Fight Terrorism and Build Nations.. One School at a Time. http://www.bookbrowse.com/reviews/in...ok_number=1758 If you heard the conversation - he seems very intresting. Worth listening to replay tonight if you missed it this morning.. Greg Mortenson will stop in Omaha at The Bookworm, March 30th, 6pm. His biography, Three Cups of Tea, has received national media attention and recounts the unlikely journey that led Mortenson from a failed attempt to climb Pakistan’s K2, the world’s second highest mountain, to successfully building schools in some of the most remote regions of Afghanistan and Pakistan. More information on the book is at www.threecupsoftea.com. |

| Hail Redonia! ![]() | Re: TnT Show 3-30-06 Early on Tyler read something a woman wrote about global warming. Something along the lines of "It's God's will, but we should take care of our own." Granted it was much longer and more contradictory to itself, but you get the gist of it.

| Re: TnT Show 3-30-06 MORE CRAP: -TnT played the Family Guy's "Vasectomy Song" finally, as I assume the necessary machine(s) got fixed -TnT praised Action 3 for not trying to scare their viewers as much as others with weather forecasts...unfortunately, they cited Bill Randby who two days ago said there was a chance for tornadoes on Thursday (today) and declared this an instance of scaring their viewers with weather...(I agree that too often TV meteorologists predict the worst, but in this instance Bill's forewarning had some value) -Greg Mortenson talked about being held prisoner by the Taliban and lying to get out (he told his captors that his pregnant wife was about to have his first son --which is a BIG deal in their culture, but his wife was actually going to have his daughter-- and they let him go, apologizing for causing him inconvience and giving him (EDIT: money) for his school...I'm not positive on every fact here, but I'm sure I got most of it -Action 3 may be following TnT on/around their induction onto the bar room floor...however, I think Tyler said the news room has yet to hear of this because it's still in the planning stages, but Wex has apparently green-lighted some form of TV exposure in the future for TnT... -Todd Glass called from an airport in Cincinatti, said the phrase "shot the pilot" (he was talking about a TBS show "pilot") while in a terminal at the airport, and he'll be in studio tomorrow (Good catch, mike! -TnT spent a little bit of time talking old baseball stadiums and compared Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, and Barry Bonds with caller Ed...Ed taught TnT that the LA Dodgers, formerly the Brooklyn Dodgers of NYC, were so named because of the many people who were "dodgers" of the trolley cars throughout Brooklyn (Yes! A random bit of baseball history that I actually knew beforehand) -(the) Austin Anderson and Dan Cummings (don't know the spelling) came up to the studio later in the show -Tyler admitted to getting hooked on "Deal or No Deal" (Yes!! addictive show, new one on Friday night, 7pm, WOWT -Austin said he was trying to win a seat on Todd and Tyler's Party Plane to Vegas because he wanted to hang out with the guys in Vegas -Larry the Cable Guy called late in the show and they talked about how well "Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector" has done in movie theaters; Larry said he was blowing off Toby Keith's golf tournament to roast TnT at the press club induction, and apparently Jim Rose (NU ass kicker) is a dick (He may have threatened to quit his job or remove himself from the press club if TnT are inducted, allegedly...); the host of CNN's "Showbiz Tonight" pissed Larry off because he was asking political questions and didn't ask ONE QUESTION about the new movie...TnT still haven't seen Larry on the big screen Good LtCG jokes: "You think Walmart's prices are low? You should see their foreheads!" "I went to see the jewelry section at the Walmart the other day--it was a claw machine!" -Apparently, Scientologists and Kabbalah followers are competing for the Beckhams (that one Spice Girl and that studly-looking soccer player); Tom Cruise and Madonna have both visited with David and Victoria

| Re: TnT Show 3-30-06 Just a heads up Donnie, but it was a $100,000 rubles...which is an equivalent to $300 US dollars Also he mentioned about getting stuck in the middle of a gunfight between "Opium warlords"(maybe a bandname, but not positive), had to hide under sheepskins and made it back to Denver 4 hours prior to speaking reaking of animal skins Last edited by jpa; 03-31-2006 at 04:45 AM. |

| Re: TnT Show 3-30-06 ^Travis from Iowa was regarding that scumbag Frey...Travis Justice is also from Iowa, and Tyler figured Greg will eventually say "Travis Just...er, Frey" (Travis also had something about the issue, but I forgot it...I was more surprised that he seemed to be in a really good mood) Regarding the Pakistan rupees (rubles are Russia's currency, I think), I am pretty sure the Taliban gave him the equivalent of $100,000 USD -- I'll see what I can dig up, but if nothing else I'll just edit it out I also remember the "Opium warlords" and Taliban (I'm pretty sure) firefight...however, I missed a good chunk of the conversation and really only retained the band name, so I didn't post it Thanks for keeping me on my toes...I think more people should add random tidbits (since the show isn't streaming, I was hoping to keep our long distance members sort of "in the know"...but I usually get carried away)
