Tyler mentioned this morning that the "Top 10000 song bit" is getting old, and its difficult to come up with songs everyday. Is he right? Maybe Tyler would be willing to do a Top Ten All time Greatest Songs over "two weeks" then put the thing to bed. How do you feel about it?

I think just do a top 5....or rather have each person do a top 5, even Trav. Or they could do it for the Roundtable. Just an idea.

Personally,dont care one way or the other. I'm not the one who started it. I just post them, because I'm up at the time.

I think either A) the list will stop being kept, for whatever reason or B) TnT will stop checking the list (probably resulting in several more repeats) and it would quietly end...

I think Tyler may gripe about finding more songs just because it's early in the show and he's looking for a show-starting conversation, or he's a bit moody about something

Personally, I hope it doesn't go...but won't protest if it disappears (they'll continue to play a song, which may or not be a repeat...they just won't play the Big Voice Guy intro, right)

P.S. Hell, how long would it be for the TnTU members to finish that list, send it to TnT...and they can either play it in order or just pick songs from the list each morning...it's just a thought

I like that they do the top 10000. It has become a regular thing everyday like the liquid ass and the bunch of fags guy. They work in a radio station! How hard could it be to find a song to open with everyday? Plus Tyler has the most amazing music memory of anyone I have ever heard of. There can't be any way that he could not come up with a song.

I think they should do the top 69 songs of all time, because that number is just oh-so-mature-and-funny...

or, pick a theme...

1. The best songs to listen to when you lose your virginity to your prom date (or your prom date's friend...or your prom date's parent)
2. The best songs to listen to when you find out you have an STD (and can't remember the name of the person who gave it to you)
3. The best songs to pick-up a person at the bar with (and wake up the next morning hungover, and with a random farm animal lying next to you)

Just a few ides...(this is why I DON'T work in radio)

The guys said the start the show playing a song everyday no matter what.. They are going to keep the countdown.

I think they have a very long road ahead of them... There is a butt-load of GOOD songs to choose from, that they can keep this up for a long time!

They just need a searchable database that they can type in the name of the song, that they are planning on to play for the day, to see if they have picked it in the past...

Just my two cents after two hours of Southern indulgence...

I enjoy hearing some songs I'd otherwise never would have. I never knew Sweet had any other hit besides Ballroom Blitz...
Since everyone else offered up suggestions, heres mine. Why not play more than 1 a day? Maybe 5....one per hour. That couldn't be too hard. And besides, no one wants to listen to these guys 40 years from now.
