| TnT Show 04/06/06 Post some notes from today's show here! -TnT talked about some dude they saw out in West O (156th and West Center) who was trying to sell Kenny Chesney tickets...basically, he's an idiot and may be trying to scam people -Jim Rose commented about TnT, seemed to "back off" a bit according to the guys...some reporter for the Weekly Reader (I think) transcribed a portion of their discussion with Trav about how Jim Rose is a little bitch and should backstab his way onto the bar room floor (see last few days' notes) and published it, so TnT read it aloud early in the show... -TnT talked with the inventors of Liquid Ass (Assman 1 and 2...they didn't use their names because they have normal jobs, which have been involved in the testing of the liquid, and would likely get them fired)...They said their location was Northern Indiana... -Some comedians will be in studio later on, as well--Sean Gnandt and Ercell Watson -Wal-mart will sell "Brokeback Mountain" DVDs... -Craig mentioned that Apple is now offering a patch to allow Windows operating systems to work on their computers...TnT thought it was uninteresting -Craig talked about the Congresswoman who claimed racism because she wouldn't show her badge and she wasn't allowed in the Capitol (or something)...TnT both agreed that playing the race card when it's not the issue makes the real ones seem less significant, and both Mike and Brian called in to agree, saying basically that one cannot be racially profiled walking into the Capitol wearing a business suit going to work, and that she may just be experiencing her 15 minutes of fame (Tyler did a funny bit by playing either the "This call has been terminated by the system administrator" or by playing the "phone slam" clips to end their calls, claiming that such things happened because they were black...) -TnT and Craig talked about checking out ladies in stores...Craig did it at the convenience store yesterday, saw a hot woman and had to follow her a little, then went to a totally different part of the store to get what he actually needed...Todd said men go wander the store all the time, and Tyler joked about going down an aisle to follow a hot chick but not needing anything in that aisle ("Oh, I need a douche...oh, I need some kitty litter, but I don't have a cat") -Jeremy got picked on in high school...he was called "Stiffy" because he had gotten in a bad car accident as a freshman and had really bad whiplash for about a year so he couldn't turn his neck to look at people, he had to turn his shoulders...although he was picked on a little bit, he said he never felt the urge to go home and get his dad's shotgun and start blowing people away (relating to a news story Craig did about two idiot freshmen who are being charged with conspiracy because they've been trying to buy weapons to exact revenge on their "mean" classmates...Jeremy said his senior prom date would not have called him stiffy, he said she would have called him "limpy" (and he still doesn't remember her name, he said he would look for a picture for Friday's show -Tyler said he thought the artist who will be drawing TnT for the bar room floor will be up in the studio tomorrow (no idea if this is accurate, will find out tomorrow though) -MMM was in studio today as well, talking with TnT about how to switch political parties to vote in the Republican primary -The "Minutemen" Civil Defense group declared today as "Take your American flag to work" day, likely in response to the opponents of immigration legislation who recently waved Mexican flags as protest... -Jeremy got a phone call from Todd's dad requesting that Jeremy (NOT Todd) get him a DVD of the bar room roast in May and an autograph from Larry the Cable Guy so that he (Mr. Brandt) can give it to a friend of his...Apparently Todd's dad has been asking his son to get said autograph for years but Todd has been unable to complete the task. Todd's excuse was that when he's with Larry, he's not thinking about asking him for autographs, and Jeremy just found it funny that when he said he would pass along the requests to Todd, Mr. Brandt told Jeremy that it was his job (not his own son's)...
