Throcks: 380  | Screen Door sound effect. What prompted the use of the Screen Door sound affect (effect?) The first time I heard it was with some comedian or guest saying "Aim for my mouth!". What prompted them to use that Screen Door?

Throcks: 100 | Re: Screen Door sound effect. ^I think it's just a way to introduce a random clip...to signal that someone "is walking into the studio via a screen door" and just checking in... it's effect, too Sometimes, I'm afraid to examine what TnT does...it's too difficult to understand the logic

One day tnt wanted a clip from someone- that I don't remember- but Todd wanted a door opening sound effect- they had a few older clips ,but, I couldn't find them that day, and the old clip was a pretty harsh sounding door slamming. At the time we had the worlds worst SFX library- and the only decent door effect I could find was the screen door, and it just kinda stuck. The fact that it sounds like there is a freakin' screen door on the studio is the funniest part of the whole bit, also the "Aim for my mouth" guy was Geno from the Brass Grill. |
