Todd and Tyler were inducted onto the press club floor Friday May 19, 2006. I was able to attend and so was Dave and his wife. Let me start out by saying Congratulations to Todd and Tyler..
People that were there..
Todd and his wife and his son.
Tyler, his wife, Ed Utah (his dad), and his two sisters
Of course the whole journal Z92 staff.. Craig (whose date never showed), Jeremy and his wife, James and his wife, Lester and his wife, Slaveboy Chris, Big Pussy, Jessica and her older sister, Wex and his wife, Travis and lots of other journal people.. (sorry I don't know them all)..
Larry the cable guy and his wife, Doc Ed and his wife, Black Tony and his significant other, Prodigy and his wife, Matt Higgins, Midget Brian, Clete Blakeman, The Beast, TnT Donnie and his wife, Wally the beer tender, Collen.
The Roast.. It started with Trav doing some talking, then it went to Wex.. I wish I could get a copy of his power point presentation - It was great.. He did two things.. The truth about Todd and Tyler being high maintenance and a Todd and Tyler quiz game.. .
Wex had a definition of high maintenance.. Which said that argumentative was part of the meaning
TnT - "Wex fire Donnie"
Wex - "Ok"

TnT-"Wex Fire Brian"
Wex - "Ok"

TnT- "Wex tear up our old contracts and give us new ones that pay more money."
Wex - "Ok"

TnT - "Wex now that you have given us a new contract let us go look at other radio stations for a job."
Wex -"Ok"

TnT - "Wex we want to go a vacations but we don't want it to count against our vacation time."
Wex - "Ok"

TnT- "Wex we want to take our wives to Las Vegas with us and we want Journal to pay for it."
Wex - "OK"

The next part of the power point was the TnT quiz.
Q - Who is reliable MOST of the time?
A - Tyler

Q - Who loves fishing?
A - Todd

Q - Who hates fishing?
A - Tyler

Q - Who makes more money?
A- Todd
(because he never realized that his family was eligible for insurance so no premiums were ever taken out).

Q- Which one has been in Wex's office yelled "That's Bullshit" and walked out?
A - Both

Q - Which one attends most of the meetings and is knowledgeable on the company policies?
A - Neither

Todd and Tyler were laughing so hard.. They said the only one that was wrong was that they didn't ask him to fire Donnie..

Wex also pointed out how many times TnT have been #1.

Next it was Doc. Ed's Turn..
He said he wanted to unveil the Dominguez for them, but it wasn't quite ready. Doc Ed. talked about his first time meeting with the guys -asking them if they wanted him to use long doctor terms or lay mens terms. TnT responded by saying just use penis and vagina a lot.
He had never heard of a diechman before or been asked about midget turds. He now knows where the taint is.
All of this knowledge did loose him a patient the other day. He was having a consult with a man who had received oral sex -Doc Ed says diechman. The man says "what did you just say". The doc tries to cover it up - um nothing.. The man says - "you just said dickman". "No,no I said diechman" and then had to explain to the patient was it was.. He never saw that guy again.

"Now that the Jew and the Mexican are out of the way." All I can say is he was so funny.. He continuously got their names wrong, the time of the show wrong. He did a bit on the history of TnT - where they started and how they meet. I don't recall all of the jobs he had them doing, but one of them was a police sketch artist until he was fired for drawing a stick figure with an orange head. Then the two meet in the gay porn industry.
Larry thanked the guys for letting him try out new stuff when he calls in.

Todd and Tyler
They thanked their families and the people they work with. Tyler got teary.

Then we sat down and waited for the food. After dinner I left which was 11:00. I got to see lots of good friends, got told I by Donnie Dodge that had a "nice rack", made some new friends and had a great time.

I am sure Dave can add on to this and I am sure the guys will talk about it on Monday.

MMM did a better job than I did taking notes. My wife had more fun and knew more people than I did, and she had a blast.

Another great Larry quote was something along the lines of...

"I've known Steve Wexler ever since he was a little feller!" - A jab at Steve's height.

He had to throw in some "Go Huskers!" now and then just to piss the guys off.

Steve Wexler told a story about a cold day right after he moved to omaha, and some weird guy was hanging outside the buliding waiting for somebody to let him in to be on the Todd and Tyler show.

Wex thought maybe he was just a fan or something, so he went into the studio and told Todd and Tyler that some guy named Hal Daub wanted to talk to them. I guess the mayor of the city had a scheduled interview that day.

Also, when Larry said "Well, now that the jew and the mexican are out of the way..." (which brought the whole place to hysterical tears), Todd later had a fake suck up to Wex by saying "Hey, I didn't know Trav was Jewish". (trav was on before Wex).

It was HILARIOUS, and everybody had a great time. the guys clean up real well, and of course, Larry wore a new hoody husker wifebeater and husker huntin' cap.

"I saw all these fellers dressin' up and I thought to myself, 'I'm famous! Why should i give a shit'!" (or something to that affect).

There was one of the long diatribes that Larry said about how he doesn't agree with Todd and Tyler on their politics, but who would believe them, after they had on the air a... "Tijuana retard slut inserting a cucumber into herself in the back of the coop in Milford. "

That wasn't the exact description, but it was hilarious nonetheless. I'd pay money to see a DVD of the roast.

Roasting Todd and Tyler, and talking about his publicity... Larry says...
"I want to thank uh.. the Rod and Schuyler show.. Uh, I mean, the Todd and Bob show... uh.."

"And if it wasn't for the Chris Baker show, I mean, uh, yeah, the Tom and Milo show.."

JDOl and her sister were there at the event. (HOT HOT HOT!) I just had to say something about that. HOT HOT HOT

Steve also had a question for the Todd and Tyler quiz about which one of the guys took vacation to fly to another city to have an interview with another station.. the answer was both.

Travis had a couple of good stories to tell, but I can't remember them.

Todd called Tyler a puss because he started tearing up during their thank-yous.

Larry of course, did his usual sign off "God bless the huskers, and God bless Todd and Tyler! Oh and one more thing... Go Huskers!"

That would be nice if they did film it and put it out on DVD. No doubt it would be a hot seller. I'd want a copy for sure.... Someone should have thought of that if they did not already....

It rocked....I saw Larry Thursday night and didnt think he could be any funnier Friday...I was wrong. The Tim and Milo roast was one of the funniest things I ahve ever seen. I hope they sell the DVD.....

Peterson mentioned this on the 10:00pm broadcast of "Todd and Tyler Revealed", but I forgot to mention it earlier. Larry said that the guys looked like they "just stepped out of a Foghat video"
