Im new to the boards but a long time listener to the show. Over the last couple of days Jeremy and Craig have been announcing a benefit for a kid named Tim Rosenthal, that kid is my cousin and we deeply appreciate all that z-92 has done for us. I just wanted to make a post on here to refresh on the information.

Fellow Z-92 Listeners,

Tomorrow Is Meaningful…is one young man’s motto. That young man is Tim Rosenthal. Tim was recently diagnosed with lymphoma cancer, a type known as Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Tim is only 20 years old, and is on his own insurance rather than an employer sponsored plan. As a result, Tim has to pay for the monthly insurance premiums, plus all out-of-pocket expenses, himself. This means that Tim will be responsible for thousands of dollars of medical bills resulting from chemotherapy treatments, radiation treatments, medical prescriptions, and doctor visits. In addition, because the chemotherapy has weakened Tim’s immune system, he is no longer able to work at his job because the chemicals they use to produce printed signs are not healthy for him to breathe.

To help raise money for Tim’s medical expenses, the Tim Rosenthal Medical Fund Committee is holding a Spaghetti Luncheon Benefit for him on Sunday, June 4th, 2006 at the Papillion-LaVista High School cafeteria. We will be serving spaghetti and salad for lunch, selling baked goods and raffle tickets, and holding a silent auction; all to raise money for Tim’s medical expenses.

Tomorrow Is Meaningful…and you can help support this motto! We are asking for your help with donations for the luncheon, raffle, or silent auction.
