 | Re: TnT show on 9/11/2001 I actually was listening that morning since the guys are my alarm clock. I hit snooze 5-6 times normally when waking up. The first two times were normal, then all of a sudden this odd voice was on there. I thought something had happened to the guys so I got up and turned up the radio. That still confused me so I turned on the TV right about in time to see the second plane. I did hear the replay of that day though. I'm not sure how they stayed so level headed after they figured out what was going on.

 | Re: TnT show on 9/11/2001 They replayed most of the 09/11/2001 show on 09/11/2002, and then played Springsteens' The Rising right after that. They reacted the same way we all reacted when we heard a plane hit a WTC tower. "It must have been an accident..." "How big was the plane..." "How hard is it to miss the wtc?" etc. And then it just took a turn for the worse later in the show.

| Re: TnT show on 9/11/2001 After that day's show, I distinctly remember going outside around noon and looking into the sky and seeing nothing. It was a cloudless and air traffic-less afternoon...very eerie Thanks for finding that link ob1 (and Dave, in another thread)!

| Re: TnT show on 9/11/2001 Seems like I remember jokes about a guy in a Cessna with a towel wrapped around his head. This, of course, before anyone knew what was really going on. Heard the show on the way to school. I won't forget that day. I wouldn't mind having an audio copy of that day's show. I don't post often, but listen a lot and have for years. The show is like a really good pal that follows you around while you get ready for work each morning. Maybe I shouldn't admit this, but I take a shower with the show every day. I know this sounds corny, and maybe a gigantic Milwaukee's Best Light can will fall from the sky and crush me at any moment, but that's how I remember 9/11/01. Anyway...blahblahblah.
