| Will It Play At Home? Have your scissors ready? Its time to cut the umbilical cord attached to your morning drive time radio. The Todd and Tyler Show is about to grow up. From its quiet conception through its smacking the FCC in the face adolescence, Marconi Award nominees, Todd Brandt and Mike Tyler are about to take a well developed show on the road. With some minor homogenizing changes, will it still play at home? To the casual local listener of the TnT show, the changes will go unnoticed and the minor modifications have thus far. To the listener who has invested many mornings into the show, it may be harder to swallow. As with any medicine though, will it make one feel better? From the early scoop on TnTUnauthorized that the TnT show was spreading its wings, many fans inventoried themselves as to what is most important to them and their relationship with the show. Its personal and Is that personal relationship I have with the show going away? is what I keep hearing. Well, is it? Really? Omaha fans will bare witness to something that many radio listeners will never in a life time get to see or hear, a journey into new markets. As with any journey into the unknown there are bound to be some bumps along the way. Todd and Tyler are breaking into new ground and to think they arent nervous would be an understatement. They have laid it on the line and they have a lot to lose. Ratings locally could drop or the show just doesnt sell in Anywhere USA. All real possibilities. But its time for a new venture. Its time to grow and its time to grow up. One could speculate as to what the show will become, what changes will be made. Will the round table disappear? Or will it evolve into an adaptation of its current form. The Black Round Table and the Gay Round Table are as good as any radio gets. As entertaining as it is important. Dropping those discussions truly would be a loss. Anyone for Travs Moms Lover? Matt Higgins the liberal lawyer VS Joe Conservative BlueHouse. And when Bangkok Battle Sword Trial begins, how could Todd and Mike resist? We will have to wait and see. The one thing that TnT have always had going for them from the very beginning is the one reason this will probably work, they never take themselves too seriously on the air. As Tyler has said many, many times, We just get on here and talk for 5 hours every day. They do come across very unpretentious most of the time. That fused with matured toilet humor, male bonding and neck bashing replacing Husker/Pederson bashing the stage is set for the onslaught of virgin airwaves. And Omaha has front row tickets.

Their politics are corroding the show. Tyler spouts off about the hatefulness of the other party and yet says how much he hates them.... All I get to hear from the show is from 5:45 to 7:30. And it seems to be nothing but political bashing. I have to hear that crap all day when I am at work. TnT were my oasis away from all that. Now they are trying to make names for themselves on the national level by going the political route. I saw it coming 2 months ago... With all their new found interviewees. Their talk of continuous political bantering. Less sophomoric conversations. And more National grabbing headlines. I want Tnt as they were. Our radio duo that placated to us! I am afraid the route they are taking will lead them to a down fall. *I do hope I am wrong* *Where's my Vodka?*

| [Insert Inside Joke Here] ![]() | Re: Will It Play At Home? As a liberal I'm glad we have some radio outlet, because that's really all we have...ESPECIALLY here in Omaha. Oh well, the show may be more negative now but it is probably because the guys have felt underappreciated for quite some time. I think the show will still work here in Omaha simply because nobody...NOBODY in the past 10 or so years have even attempted to compete with Todd and Tyler. It's all "puke-on-the-mic" wacky radio on the other stations, oh and Bob and Tom. That is a sad thing, truly. I listen to Todd and Tyler because it's really all there is to listen here in Omaha which contains a soul. Damn I'm coming off as an anti-Todd and Tyler guy, ha...so not true.

| Re: Will It Play At Home? I agree with the thought that Todd and Tyler have leaned more on the political issues. I hate listening to the crap in the mornings about it and bet my radio for some good old fart jokes. However this is still the best stuff on in the morning. I have a concern however about the local celebs that come in, will they still be invited. Blue House, Sarah Benck and robbers, Austin, and others who may not be famous enough for the major markets to listen at first. These guests are very talented and I like hearing the local music and local concert information. I have a second question that I will be posting in several areas hoping for a response. Has anyone heard if there will be archives of the Tand T show on the web site. It says that there is but the link doesn't take you to archived segments. I am looking for the Three Larry's bit. That was the funniest thing that I have heard on the show in the three years that I have listened. HUSKERS SUCK!!! Hook em HORNS |
